Classic Rock Led Zeppelin special

I picked up my copy tonight at Barnes & Noble in NY; unfortunately, I did not know it was basically a repackage until I got it home and thumbed through it. It still was nice to see an ENTIRE edition devoted to Zep. I did think that $15.00 US was a little steep, though. Good thing I had a 15% off coupon !!!!!!!!

There's always a good thing about everything, I guess..... You have just convinced me NOT to pay about US$ 30  (no kidding) for it here.

Phew, $30?

That's steep!

...and I thought the price in the UK was high!

On a quick read through after shelling out the whopping £7.99 for this, it has some appalling and unforgivable mistakes - calling Peter Grant "Peter Green", Carouselambra "Casa Hombre", captioning a live pic as "Denmark 1965", and another pic as their first New Yardbirds gig "September 7th 1967". Useless.

I also could not believe my eyes when I read Chris Welch talking about "Out On The Tiles" and saying Robert sings "I'm so glad I'm leaving you" and a voice says "stay!" Come on man! I thought you were a true Zep expert and fan!!!

Wow.

Finally got this issue. $25 in Canada.

It is not $30 here in the US...more like $15, which is how much Borders and

Barnes & Nobles and various newstands have priced it.

Besides the various factual errors and typos, the US copy does not have the DVD

that comes with the magazine in the UK.
