Goze211
I've heard there are a few CD versions of LZ IV, some of which have the opening mandolin part of StH in the wrong channel. My disc I just got used has cat# 19129-2 (250 008) on it. Is this the faulty version?
Reggie29
Mandolin on STH? I don't think so.
leddy
I think you will find the Mandolin was used on The Battle of Evermore.

Electrophile
Okay, Stairway isn't even my favorite song and I can tell you I've never heard a mandolin on that song.
LukeTheDuke
I've heard there are a few CD versions of LZ IV, some of which have the opening mandolin part of StH in the wrong channel. My disc I just got used has cat# 19129-2 (250 008) on it. Is this the faulty version? If I remember well, some of the first pressings were released on reversed channel ... This was one of the reasons for the Jimmy's decision to release the remastered versions (1990). First cds where very very bad on audio.
