  1. When you figure out how let me know. Those last pictures just blew me away. So glad my husband isn't in the room. LOL!
  2. No, but they do allow the spaces, which is just as good. They are great ideas. My favorite is LD ZP LVR. I can hear people honking in agreement now!
  3. So many of these picture show the chemistry we all know was there. Beautiful pics. Keep them coming.
  4. They are dynamic alright. Their looks, talent, songwriting capabilities, work ethic, creativity...
  5. I just like your basic LED HEDs. I really wanted that for my license plate. Except people would think it was a couple thing. You know, couples with the same initials on their license plates, gross. I also thought about GT LED OUT, but people would assume that meant drive fast. Any other suggestions? I get seven letters and two spaces.
  6. Okay, but we're taking separate vehicles and your girlfriend is not allowed to follow me to the bathroom. That took a lot of arm twisting didn't it? Also, you starting burning my hair and I'm outta there. LOL!
  7. Since "GROUP"ettes sounds like groupies and groupies have sex with the band and none of us are going to be doing that anytime soon, I would say no.
  8. You seriously think I would attend a concert with you, so I can be chased by hookers, undercover cops, pimps, security guards and on top of it all and the worst part is you can't even bring a beer or cocktail back for me without spilling it all over yourself. Geez.
  9. I hope for all the fans out there that Axl doesn't throw his usual tantrums before the show and refuse to go on.
  10. Only if he came out with a new album that I was mezmerized with like Robert did with Raising Sand.
  11. I was willing to drive 372 miles to St. Louis by myself to see Robert and AK. It just so happened my husband was able to drive me while he was working. If I had to, I would have done it. I don't know if I would have done that for Jimmy.
  12. THERE IS NO CONTEST. ROBERT HANDS DOWN. Hence my username imPLANTed.
  13. He's such a beautiful creature, young and old.
  14. See now I thought the same exact things about him. I just thought it was me. LMBO! Peace and love to ZFF.
  15. ...and the closest we're going to get to you for a while is Sarasota, FL next April. Oh, well, until I get lessons, I'll have to dance like a frog dropped into boiling water. LOL!
  16. I wish I could find the interview with Alison Krause where she states that she basically didn't care one way or the other about LZ growing up. It was listening to her brother playing his albums that gave her any familiarity at all with them. Her favorite band was I think Journey. Her brother used to ask her to listen to how awesome LZ was. Hmmmm....I just bet AK's brother got to meet Robert.
  17. Do you think they were ever best friends, or still are? It seems fairly obvious that they would be, but JP didn't even fly back to England for Robert's son's funeral. That always seemed strange to me. It's not like they continued the American tour without him. What else was he doing? Sorry, way off topic. Please consider this a rhetorical question.
  18. I don't think Alison knows how lucky she is. Is there anyway Admin. can ban me from this thread. It's.just.too.much!
  19. You want to hear the funny part? I was the one going to church long before she did. The neighbor across the street scooped up any kids in the neighborhood that wanted to go to Sunday School. She would just pack her Pontiac Bonneville full of kids. Got myself up and dressed and ready to go while my mom was sleeping in a drunken stupor from the night before. At least your mom taught you how to dance. I would love to take ballroom dancing lessons with hubby. That's on my someday list. He actually wants to also.
  20. Yeah, how does that happen? I think it's that star struck thing again.
  21. Well, here, now that you feel bad for me, maybe you can shed a few tears. Just to name a few that were destroyed (in front of me): Led Zeppelin (at least 4 albums that I can think of) Eric Clapton Derek and the Dominos Bad Co. The Rolling Stones Pink Floyd (lots of those) Beatles (the vinyl was even white on one of them) Elvis Black Sabbath Deep Purple and the one I really don't understand was "my" Barbra Streisand Christmas album. What is wrong with a Jewish woman singing about Jesus' birth?!?!?! No Metallica though. I'd love to be decorating a rec. room with those now. Yeah, it was a church thing. She actually did lead a pretty tawdry life (flaming alcoholic and all). When she had her "come to Jesus meeting", she felt that music would again lead her down a wrong path. Fortunately, my husband had saved some of his vinyls and they are now my step-albums. LOL! In the collection was LZ's fourth album and PF Dark Side of the Moon. And yes, believe it or not, and I am not even kidding, the Barbra Streisand Christmas album. How's that for ironic fate? If she only knew
  22. I love that interview with JP in 1998. He's seems like such a nice and genuine person. Is it possible that I like him even more than I did a few minutes ago?
  23. "Usually"...that's funny. No, but it is a balmy 42 degrees today.
