  1. Yes, I like especially the movies from the 60's, 70's and 80's, such as Once Upon A Time in the West, Barry Lyndon, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather etc; I think they were very aesthetic movies, whereas nowadays most films look like video games if they are action movies and are much more predictable, and the scenarios are either weak or too complicated.( but there are still some great movies today !) It was also a great era for music of course!
  2. Sofia Loren was beautiful, but I think Claudia Cardinale was the most beautiful actress of that era. In movies such as The Leopard or Once upon a time in the West, she is truly unforgettable.
  3. Maria Grazia Cucinotta, an Italian actress. She's very famous in Italy, but outside her country, not as much as Monica Bellucci !
  4. Are you satisfied with this answer?
  5. Elton John's best song in my opinion, a true masterpiece.
  6. George Harrison was very talented but he was not a rocker, his solo career was not as good, and his influence in the Beatles was not as strong.
  7. He is to pop and rock music what Mozart is to classical music. His musical creativity was absolutely incredible, he is the only artist in History to have been in a band such as The Beatles and who then pursued an excellent solo career. For 20 years, he wrote nearly all his songs, his melodies were incredible, he was both an excellent rocker and a subtle pop musician.According to me Imagine is the best album ever recorded by any solo artist. Elvis was good, but he didn't write his songs, and Michael Jackson was an average musician who contributed to the death of the real pop music and whose musical ability was not very impressive. So the real King is Lennon, he was just not in the same league.
  8. I like Christine McVie a lot, she is a brilliant composer and she's by far my favourite member in the band.I think she's really underrated, although she composed and sang so many great songs (Songbird, Don't Stop,You make loving fun, Come closer to me, Prove your love,Warm ways, etc). She had effortless melodic skills and even her lesser known songs are good("Warm ways").I don't think many people realize how talented she was.Her solo album released in 1984 is also interesting and does not have the dirty 80's sound of many albums of this era.
  9. You can tell she 's been influenced by Queen only by the way she dresses, but musically she's very far away from what Queen did.
  10. Ram is also a very good album, IMO, it's even better than Band On the Run.It has been recently remastered and I think you can hear Paul at his best. Paul's solo career was interesting between 1970 and 1973, but then he ventured into easy-listening pop.("Listen to what the man said" omg, is it really Paul?). For those who are looking for a continuation of the Beatles style in the 70's, I recommend that they listen to Supertramp( albums such as Even in the Quietest moments,Crisis, Crime of the century are sometimes very Beatles-sounding) ps: don't read the album reviews about Supertramp in Rolling Stone magazine, the journalists don't understand their music; since according to RS magazine, British+Pop+melodic+original= not serious at all(The Beatles being the exception).
  11. Don't know who she is, but she's definitely beautiful!
