Part 2) After you send the first message, you can then go in to your messages, pull it right up and edit if you need to using the full editor key. The full editor key is okay for all messages on that thread. The first one is where it always hangs up (at least for me) Try it out again and send me another PM just using the red "send" key.........

Hi there! I got you covered friend. I had the same problem when I joined with the "array" message. Okay, go to the person's profile page, click on send a message. Type header, and message and hit the red SEND key. Do not hit USE FULL EDITOR. (This leads to a bigger screen to spell check/review but you'll always get "ARRAY ERROR". So avoid that just hit send.

I moseyed outside late (or early!) about 1:00 AM E.T. and was surprised at how vivid and big this moon was. Gorgeous to gaze at and dream under. Llike you Magic, I was using the naked eye too!.........missy

ledzepfvr, That is the best music news I've heard in a long time! I love everything they've done and can only hope they might consider Florida on the tour. Imagine seeing this and their other gorgeous songs played live. Yippee.

The Band is yet another group I need to check out. But they sure do some fine playing here with Joni Mitchell. Hmm..well let's try this again. Well hell's bells, just a great night I'm having here. Trust me. They did a fine job backing Joni on a great song "Coyote."

Well, today I got my first R.E.M. album CD delivered to my door (thank-you Amazon). I picked "Up" as my choice. I'm looking forward to it because there are two songs on it I like a lot already. Thanks for the tips everyone on what to get first!................ missy

How are you liking the site? I like Stariway to Heaven too. My favorite albums are IV, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti.
Try the songs, No Quarter or The Rain Song if you are looking for their best work in my opinion. Also, the song Ten Years Gone is very nice and Jimmy Page is fabulous on that! By the way, you have the coolest real name here, bar none!

What happened to Bill Berry? So the albums I like most, Up and Reveal have a new drummer? Was Bill Berry a drummer that was pivotal to the group and their sound? I mean no disrespect meant by that at all. I was just curious, especially since I picked albums post Bill Berry apparently. Thanks............... Missy .

Time to get this thread back on track....REM's second best album (I think so far) is Reveal. Maybe not the typical choice, but this song is very nice and another one called "Beachball." Hey, I've been sampling a ton of R.E.M. over at Amazon. I haven't even gotten through all their records yet. But, I already think I found my favorite! And it may surprise you because it wasn't mentioned much in the suggestions. It's the album "Up" from 1998. Now I have no idea how this record fits into the different phases the band may have gone through over the years. But I like it a lot because to my ears there is a touch of .....I guess you would call it trippy/slightly psychedelic sound to it. Is that crazy? Well, here are two songs I picked up on right away I liked more than some others to give you an idea. They remind me a little bit (vocals too) of another band I recently discovered that is electronic/psychedelic, "The High Llamas." I would really be curious what any fan of the band thinks of my favorite (at least out of the 10 or so records I checked, Reveal being a second choice). Yes, I hear you. I can't imagine myself not telling someone to pick up Wish You Were Here or Animals right alongside Dark Side of the Moon. Personally, I like Animals the best and for Zep I'd pick Houses of the Holy. So my taste isn't typically go with the mega-seller first at all. I can buy more than one also. Are these guys as big as say, U2 was in the Eighties or something? I'm not saying that in a sarcastic way. I dropped the FM radio and MTV around 1990, and therefore don't know, but am curious. I only know Losing My Religion. I liked this a lot when it was out back in the day. Basically I wanted to know what you think represents their best music. I don't care if its "hits" or not. Sorry that my earlier post was a little confusing. Do they have a live set out ala The Song Remains the Same? Thanks to both of you for the tips................. missy

Thank-you! So "Lifes Rich Pageant" could be considered like Led Zepplin's IV perhaps? Not musically, but I mean as far as the record everybody needs to have if you are an R.E.M. fan. Similarly as in Pink Floyd fans always have "Dark Side of the Moon." Well, you probably get the comparison I'm making. I appreciate the suggestions and I will check them out becuase I'm in the mood for a new band (new to me, lol.)............... missy

Here's another band I missed during it's past/current run. There is obviously a big fan base and it must be with good reason. I'm one of those people that only recalls seeing R.E.M. on MTV circa late 80's (when it was still MTV). In fact, the only video I know is their hit "Losing My Religion" (which I thought was a very inspiring cool piece of music) Anyhow, they never hit my radar again. So tell me what CD would you suggest as their masterpiece for me to give a listen to? ................. thanks missy
