Could be interesting. I don't understand one thing -- why was the screen even turned on (there were SMPTE color bars displayed on the screen) if there were no cameras at the venue?

Steve, I've heard that Eddie Van Halen jammed with Page in 1973. Is this even close to being true?

Even footage from a single stationary camera can be considered "proshot".

Very interesting. Any photos with the screen/cameras in action? I haven't been able to locate many photos of that concert. By the way, the article mentions that Concerts West was responsible for filming. Can we contact them?
