  1. I've asked Robert this for someone else who was dead keen to know - it was in Morocco so the language is either Modern Standard Arabic or Berber and the guy is basically giving a call out to everyone to pay attention . I'll see if I can find the message I sent with a more specific version of his answer (which I don't think there really was!).
  2. Slightly picky I know but I would say the potentially merged pic of Plant ( with Page) looks more 85 - his hair is a bit longer(and lighter) a la Live Aid - he wore that necklace on most of the 85 US tour, too. Just another thought for the melting pot.
  3. Isn't that what MSG is saying? Here's another photo of the man in the limo? I agree it's not Tommy Bolin, but I can see how the limo photo suggested it was.
  4. I'm pretty sure RP's playing was in a fairly minor capacity - and that JPJ plays too.
  5. We've discussed this before so the info should be available on this site somewhere, but for a start he plays on "Sloppy Drunk" (which became "Boogie With Stu") and "Battle of Evermore" (pages 173 and 205 of "The Press Reports" respectively) . There's also a quote on page 183 of the same book from a June 1971 interview with Robert in Sounds that "....I manage to plonk guitar on about 3 numbers on this album...." ( III) He wasn't just the singer, he didn't just write the lyrics he also wrote the melodies. To accuse him of "simply lying" is ridiculous and I won't apologise for going "off topic" to say so.
  6. Yes it is. I should also say it was at the Mayfair Ballroom - it wasn't a secret though.
  7. Unable to scan more ATM but already have some uploads of pics of posters I own so wondered if they would fit here too? Anyway, here are some.
  8. Wow - how wonderful to wake up to all these contributions! Thanks SO much! Some I don't have, and many you all have saved me from scanning, which is an absolute relief ha ha ha Mike - your scans are SO much better organised than mine and put me to shame - thank you, they are just great. Aen - thanks for continuing to contribute here - love it! What a treat
  9. They look great cleaned up! And cheers Steve.
