  1. Do you have a date for the 1979 Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef awards attended by Robert and Jonesy (and possibly others) ?
  2. Not whilst you blame an entire race for what a handful of people did, he isn't.
  3. Well I guess "amazing" will always be subjective
  4. There will be new songs, and have heard they are amazing
  5. I LOVE this guy , seen him twice and he is amazing . What a voice!
  6. That's certainly the criteria to qualify as "the biggest band in the world" .
  7. I think they worked on that stuff together didn't they? I don't remember that Jimmy brought the songs and they worked on them? Am totally prepared to admit bad memory here though.
  8. Steve and I don't always see eye to eye, but I believe he's right. Jimmy's been working on old and not new stuff. I would love to see/hear him play again. He's the ultimate musician for me.
  9. Beautiful family Virginia - wow - I can't tell you how many times I have seen your face on that movie, it really is something strangely special to see this thread now. I am a little choked up. Thanks - you are very cool to post here x
  10. I can see you're upset about this but the comment re his mother is just too far. They're a close family and see each-other often.
  11. Can't believe no-one else has seen this yet!
  12. There's some dispute about that. The New Yardbirds.
  13. I remember Robert telling a story of how Cozy begged him to let him put just ONE drum beat on "Fat Lip" but he wouldn't let him. It was quite a departure for him at the time, simple as it seems now.
  14. George is my favourite Beatle by far. I completely believe his defence that the likeness in "My Sweet Lord" to "He's So Fine" was a subliminal thing. And to get a song like that, I would not have cared if he had completely ripped off every artist I have ever loved.
  15. Didn't think so but will check
  16. Am a bit confused by this answer ^ - Robert WAS on the Roxy filmed in Newcastle, ( I was there) not sure what your wording means?
  17. Wasn't she also on the Roxy in Newcastle upon Tyne when Robert was on it? I was there but can't remember for sure.
  18. Completely agree. Why you stating for the record that he doesn't work for the band should cause him to decide to leave this forum is as big a mystery as has ever been covered in this thread.
  19. I did attempt a PM but I think your inbox is full - just saying I apologise for my part in any misunderstanding.
  20. None of them? Well one of them is his mother so I would hope she does.
  21. I like it And you know "over-rated" just means other people like it and you don't, doncha?
