  1. I know and you know I pull for the HAAS team. I love the course they drive in Montreal. The standings are becoming much more interesting after the past two races.
  2. Thinking about all who gave some and especially some who gave all on this Memorial Day. Thoughts and prayers to everyone who served, fought and died for our freedom.
  3. It was a very cool way to start the show. Wonder why it wasn't used before the 15th? Also wonder if it was the inspiration behind the "In The Evening" intro? I always like the Page/Plant intro they used in the 90's. Gave a good build up too, IMO.
  4. Yes, they were luvlz2. Walsh came on about 7:30, play about 80 min. Bad Co came on about 9:15 and played about 90 min. We took off during the encores to beat the drunks out of the rain drenched, muddy parking lot. Mrs Walter made her best illegal moves and we were home back in O-town by 11:30 and in the pool. Fun night! Next up G 'n R in July....
  5. Kimi wrecking was a racing incident. Him coming off the wall, wrecked, and getting in the middle of race traffic was ridiculous and disrespectful to the rest of the field. Monaco was by far the best race of the three yesterday. Looking forward to seeing what the Red Bull cars have for the silver arrows at Canada. Apparently they're bringing new motors with them.
  6. 70 to go.... Truex has led the entire race but the 48 is breathing down his neck and that ole 4 dog looks like it might just be ready to hunt...
  7. It was all good! We got inside with time to spare. Great show - especially Walsh! We bought lawn seats for $30 a piece and end up in "regular" seats under the covering of the ampitheatre, due to lack of overall sales. It was packed though. Seemed like a lot of skunks were living near bye!
  8. Monaco was so very intense this morning! Drama all the way until the last lap - if it had gone 2 min later who knows what would've happened with the impending rain. That course is so tight. Kimi was an A-Hole, in my opinion for wrecking Grosjean (sp?) and then driving around with his nose coming apart. Great run for Perez. I really like his ability to make a lot out of a little. Of course Ricciardo lost the race just like Hamilton did last year - due to a complete colapse by his team. I mean WTF! I've never scene that happen in racing, not NASCAR, not endurance racing, not IRL, never..... How could a team call in their car who is leading and not have the tires ready?!?!? ? Indy was good - but it is always more fun when they race it out on the track and not with the fuel mileage calculators. Still a win is a win and Rossi seemed to have a future in F1, but now he's had the golden road into IRL laid out for him. Chatlotte has begun, almost halfway. I've had a lot of everything today, hoping my Freaky Fast 4 can get to the front by the end of the 600 miles!
  9. Tonight in Tampa they played pretty much the same set as was posted earlier, except they play "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" and to our grateful surprise "Running With The Pack". Good set. "Rock Steady" was played before "Bad Company" in the encore.
  10. Have a good sleep JTM. I'll be enjoying the crown jewel of F1. Monaco is thee drivers course - now mix in rain and it'll be insane. Congrats to my boy Ricciardo for earning the pole today! ?????
  11. Just Mrs Walter, myself and a couple were close with. Anybody know what time Walsh goes on stage?!? Just had a HUGE rain storm, I'm half-soaked, but pounding cranberry and vodka! ?
  12. Tonight - Joe Walsh/Bad Company at the Tampa Ampitheatre.
  13. Looks like the #4 Jimmy John's Chevy SS is ready for tomorrow nights "crown jewel" race at Charlotte. So am I!
  14. Well, it's the Pens and the Sharks for the Cup. I'm pulling for the Pens.
  15. It's Monaco baby! Christmas week for me.... Sunday is the legendary trifecta of Monaco for breakfast, Indy 500 for lunch and Charlotte 600 all night long! What a great day! Gotta pace myself so there aren't any parts failures that end up in a DNF! ☘?????
  16. No Quarter - May 24, 1975 - Earl's Court Best ever, IMO.
  17. Agreed Rick! Mrs Walter grew up with the Plaguer Bros' kids and the rest of the team. Her dad was a huge fan and part-owner back in the 70's. He still has deep roots out there. We are going to St Louis next month and Walter Jr is going to be able to go into KMOX box to hang with the legendary Mike Shannon while they call a Cards game. St Louis is such a great sports town! I really hope they bring home the Cup this year!
  18. Absolutely we are. Mrs Walter and her family would throw me out otherwise...
  19. Yep and different combinations have been to death here as well.... I thought it was a great combination of diverse backgrounds, approaches to the instrument and personalities. All three are uniquely identifiable by their sound alone - which is something to be said in the world of rock n roll guitar.
