  1. I've seen them a number of times - best was when the opened for Plant on his Non-Stop Go tour (Now and Zen). "The Flame" was #1 and they put on a great set.
  2. Yep! That's what I was saying. Interesting it was Tennessee with Coach Fisher working the deal - after he led the Titans for so many years. I like the Cowboys' schedule. Nice and even - not too many on the road consecutively, good December games for a change and a well placed bye week. Hope we have a solid draft to match. Still don't know who they'll take, especially after this trade. Bosa seems like the natural fit at DE. Ramsey would be great, but I think he'll go to SD. Strider, what do you think about Jack from UCLA? Since he was injured so early in the season and I don't pay very close attention to the PAC teams, I don't know that much about him beyond what the scouts have been barking. I know coming off a major injury and not running the 40 in pre-draft combines makes me nervous. Everyone says he'd be a beast in Miranelli's defensive scheme.
  3. Regular season schedules are being announced in less than 5 min! Draft is two weeks from tonight - with the Rams trading the farm to move up to the number 1 overall pick this morning. Hope it's worth it! Or maybe Tennessee will send out all of its selections on the field the next time they play....
  4. First off, Simmons is pissed it took KISS that long to get in. Second he himself has a political agenda. But everyone here, including Simmons, is correct - rap is NOT rock. Some infused rock music into their style of rap, but it's not rock. The fact these other rock bands haven't gotten in just speaks to the b.s. that is the HOF. As was said earlier, it's just a tourist attraction in a city that needs one.
  5. If you decide to come to the Orlando show, I'll buy you a drink! Do you think the tour will go outside of North America or are these the only shows planned? I'm guessing it'll be based on how things go for these dates...
  6. That's good for us - he'll be back on his feet (foot) by July! Are you going to any of the shows, SAJ?
  7. How long is he expected to be confined while on stage?

Yep, it was an amazing turnaround. When Spieth made the turn, I said to Walter Jr "there's nothing like the back nine at Augusta". Then bogey, bogey at 10&11 - then the twelfth.... Huge congrats to Willet - a 67 on Sunday at The Masters is worthy of winning it and not just receiving the green jacket because another lost strokes. Spieth has now finished 2nd, 1st, 2nd in his three trips to the greatest tournament of the year. He will be back for more jackets that's for sure! What about all of those hole-in-one shots at 16? The last one was unparalleled.
  9. Myself, Mrs Walter and Walter Jr will be at the July 29 show at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. We are all pumped for it! Still no word about an opening act? I've heard The Cult might be doing it, which would be interesting considering Sorum drummed for both them and Guns. Axl does sound good! Slash is, well, Slash. Mrs Walter loves Duff.

Langer is a really nice guy, so I'd be thrilled if he won today. Nobody is making a move....so far!

Spieth showed everyone that he is human, yesterday. Only 4 golfers under par. Hopefully we'll have a great final round in Augusta today.
  12. When did you start listening to him?
  13. Nice pictures, Strider! I've always loved the World Series trophy.

Before the tourney started, I was saying Day - but now it's hard to go against Spieth.
  15. What a nice resurection, especially for your first post!
  16. Glad to see you back here, Emily!
  17. Glad you had such a good time, Dd! I have friends who swear by the Moody Blues as the most underrated band of all-time.
  18. Interesting race today. Rosberg wins his 5th consecutive race, Vettel blew up at the start and is now in 6th place in the standings, Grosjean finished 5th and is now tied for 4th in the standings. Amazing start for Haas, currently a solid 5th in the constructors standings. Fantastic! Now it's time for Martinsville - that half-mile, paper clip shaped, flat short track! Tempers will flare today!
  19. I do. He prefers the Brian Johnson era. I still mix in Bon though... It'll be interesting to see if Axl does fill in for the remaining AC/DC dates.
  20. Not happening tonight, I'm afraid. Down by 14 with 6 min to go. It was a good ride!
