  1. They were rumoring Dallas this morning, which would be GREAT! He was Garrett's OC when he was backup qb in the 90's and they have a good relationship. Apparently, JG doesn't want to give up play calling - but he really needs to so he can focus on managing the game better. We shall see....
  2. Glorious day in Central Florida! High is gonna be in the upper 70's, not a cloud in the sky! Just finished sweeping the pool and hosing out the filter. Water temp. is only 62 though, so no swimming on New Years Day!
  3. Thanks Paul! I also want to say thank you to everyone who helped with posting the games, statistics and math corrections! Definitely one of most enjoyable threads on here....especially during the political season and with the many gun threads! Looking forward to the 2013-2014 season already!
  4. You're new avatar! ^ I don't have one either after 3 beers, 2 large glasses of wine and 4 shots of Kraken! At least the party was next door.... Happy New Year everyone!
  5. The Vikes barely beat Green Bay in Minnesota. That was with home cookin' and perfect playing conditions. Not as easy to run on a slow field, which Green Bay does with their heating elements under the turf and it's not easy to through a cold ball with gloves on. Ponder played at FSU. All that leads me to think Green Bay will beats their asses.
  6. Cincinnati Green Bay Baltimore Seattle
  7. The Bears missed the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years, that's why he's out. He'll return somewhere else soon enough, same for Andy Reid.
  8. Not for me! 11-5 does not feel good....10-6 would've been much nicer!
  9. Do I know my team or what......
  10. 10-5 so far, hopefully will end up 10-6!
  11. Touchdown Packers! Of course, my fantasy football players are FINALLY all playing and performing well!
  12. Game was A LOT slower back too! Anyone who has attended games back then and now, can attest to that. Touchdown Packers! I'm climbing the walls waiting for tonight's game!
  13. Agree about Perry's magic. This scene was like a postitution scene with the two dancers (one of which is Perry's wife) being taken away to above the amps by that clown character from the PFP days - specifically the Woodstock '94 set. There is a murder scene, using shadows and debris being thrown about. Very Perry, that's for sure!
  14. Actually it was 'the body electric' who brought the thread back... Since my last post in here, I saw them again at the HOB back in May. Another fantastic show - even better than '09. Perry sounded as strong as ever! Great set list with a little from every release. Had some 'actors' on the stage for "Ted, just admit it..." - similar to the Porno For Pyros shows back in the 90's. I will see Jane's anytime they come around!
  15. Yes we did Rick! So much for them coming to play for their beloved coach!
  16. Just got home in time to see my picks pretty much suck! Garrett isn't going anywhere, but staying in Dallas guys!
  17. Been shopping around this morning, almost forgot to make the picks. Here are mine: Chicago Tennessee Houston New Orleans Philadelphia Pittsburgh Atlanta Buffalo Cincinnati Green Bay New England Denver San Diego San Francisco Seattle Washington
  18. Just finished watching my Syracuse Orange kick WVU's ass, 38-14, in the Pinstripe Bowl from Yankee Stadium. Now, it's 'First Blood' on AMC.
  19. Sounds like this past summer, with their latest on the cd player...good times - "this beats workin' baby..."
  20. I'm actually getting optimistic about your Dolphins, Paul. They need to get a playmaker at wide receiver this offseason, first and foremost. They are winning games they should, which is the first step. The Bears have to get a better o-line, one more receiver and they will be legit - but not now. I think they'll make the playoffs this weekend though. Green Bay over Minn and Bears over the Lions, then they're in at 6 seed. Philadelphia v Giants really sets up to be an interesting game. Andy Reid's probable last game against a Giants team that is laying down much like they did a couple of seasons ago. Plus Vick is back in this week.... Dallas v Wahington should be a war, it's only fitting that it's the last game of the regular season. Big time players come up big in these types of games. Will the legend of RG3 continue to grow at an exponential rate? Will Romo shed some of his lack of leadership reputation? Will Garrett have his team so ill prepared that he actually loses his job? Will Shanahan take the 'skins to where only Joe Gibbs has in the last 3 decades, the division title? I heard Demarcus Ware is playing with a dislocated shoulder, hyper-extended elbow and pulled hamstring. Which leads to the next question, will the experience of being in games like this help the Cowboys any? Give Romo and Witten an edge? Can't even imagine the emotion that will be at FedEx Field Sunday night. For the Redskin fans, this has to be like a Super Bowl to them. They have won 6 in a row after they were just gonna evaluate talent the remainder of a 3-6 start to the season. The Cowboys have to just keep it close the first half, avoid getting caught up in the emotion. It can't come quick enough for me. The NFC appears to have the better teams heading into the playoffs. The AFC is tight 1-4, any of those 4 teams could represent in the Super Bowl. I can't believe the season is about over too, no more Sunday Ticket....hate it when the screen says "see you next season".
  21. Hi Juliet! If you don't mind me asking, how much was it? I paid $24 through amazon on pre-sale. Then $35 when I picked up a copy for a friend at Best Buy. Good luck!
