  1. Early bird gets the worm?? I’ll get it going by the end of February. The season starts waaay too early this year, IMO. Spring training games start around February 22! That’s crazy.
  2. Yeah, I'm in the middle of watching it for the umtenth time too. Episode 12, Season 3 is where I'm at. The Russian in the woods episode was that last one I saw....epic. Pauly's face as they drove away after not finding him was the best! About to start watching "The Outsider" on HBO. Only 1 episode has played, so not a binge watch.
  3. Yup, it’ll be here next week. For now though we have the a/c running as it is too hot to have the windows open. Next week, it’ll be in the upper 30’s so then we’ll have the heat going. Not many happy medium days...
  4. Sorry to hear that, but I understand. I just picked up Tigers/Yankees tix for March 17th at Lakeland. Yankees tix in Tampa were grabbed up by ticket brokers immediately. I haven’t been to Joker Marchant Stadium in a while and got great seats right behind the Yanks dugout. Should be fun. The Tigers are now the closest team to us, since the Astros left Kissimmee and the Braves left Disney... Spring Training ain’t what it used to be!
  5. No he said that based on the shows he’d seen since ‘70 or ‘71, I believe, he knew they were just getting their shit together and did say he viewed it as a rehearsal show - hence my statement referencing him and the - especially after he saw them later on the tour in Houston and Ft Worth. No worries SAJ, I’m not trying to rewrite history.
  6. MLB is going to suspend the Astros' manager and GM for the entire 2020 season due to the 2017 cheating scandal...
  7. Next week’s championship games: AFC Championship Sunday, January 19 @ 3:05 pm Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs NFC Championship Sunday, January 19 @ 6:40 pm Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49’ers
  8. Looks like we have a barn burner in the playoff pool! Technically, everyone is still in it... Current Standings: zepscoda - 4-4 - 4 points jabe - 4-4 - 4 points LedZeppfan77 - 4-4 - 4 points paul carruthers - 4-4 - 4 points ebk - 4-4 - 4 points Walter - 3-5 - 3 points redrum - 3-5 - 3 points Mrs. W - 3-5 - 3 points junior - 2-6 - 2 points Strider - 1-7 - 1 point
  9. And, according to The Rover, April 1st.
  10. They’ve been playing Limelight once every game that I’ve watched.
  11. Here’s some more information to help with your question, weapon2010.
  12. Certainly not a hard as the Tennessee and San Francisco defenses were last night.
  13. 3 TD’s in 3 min...we have a ballgame!!
  14. Hill is dead after that hit! Tennessee v Houston for the third time in the last 5 weeks???
  15. What a crazy start! The reverse of last week for the Texans...will there be another huge comeback??
  16. Looks like Strider and zepscoda are the only ones in on the Texans for the early game....Junior is shaking his head with an 0-6 start to the playoffs picks. Mrs. W is bummed, wanted Baltimore to win last night - probably her 2nd favorite team. Junior has sworn off the Browns’ bandwagon with their coaching hire this morning. We’re all excited for tonight’s Seattle game - changed the exterior lights in front of the house to Seahawks colors for good luck. Enjoy the games everyone - I’ll have the updated standings up later. ✌🏼❤️🏈
  17. Hot as balls outside today...fuckin January 12 and it feels like a summer day!
  18. At that point they were based out of a handful of cities and would fly in for the show(s) on the Starship, Caesar’s Chariot, or whatever plane they were using that particular tour. When they would begin a new leg of a tour in ‘73, for example, they would have rehearsals - ie Chicago ‘73 for the July leg. But I doubt they did that in ‘75 and ‘77. For those tours, they would rehearse before coming over in ‘75 (warm up shows) and ‘77 (Shepperton Studios) - we know for a fact they didn’t even rehearse after the postponement to the ‘77 tour as their equipment had already been sent over here.
  19. He looks like Tom Brady in that Mike Vrabel offense. He threw that ball on the dime. It helps having a 240 lb wrecking ball coming through the line like a hot knife going through butter!
