  1. He looks so tired in that top picture.
  2. I agree, Barnes and Noble is expensive. I went to Borders in Indianapolis recently and it wasn't as bad. Right now I'm into reading books about people. I just went to the local music store and ordered Somebody To Love?: The Rock N Roll Memiors of Grace Slick. I can't wait for it to come in.
  3. Thanks for sharing. I've never seen that one before, it's great.
  4. I got a CD of Zep interviews and other radio things for $8 at one. I was really excited. I also hate when I go into chain stores and ask for something like Zeppelin, Janis, etc and the people ask if I'm buying it for my parents or talk to me like I'm stupid. Just because I'm a teenager does not mean I'm clueless. I went into one store and asked where Jefferson Airplane was and he the guy wanted to know why someone my age was looking for that.
  5. The local store that we go to is sometimes a dollar or two more expensive on CDs but I don't mind paying that since they have better service. I can get all kind of vinyl and freebies too. When Mothership came out they gave me some stickers, pins, etc. I'm not big on the Rolling Stone but how can you not know who Keith Richards is?!
  6. I'm going to jump in on the conversation, but I really like to shop at independent stores. The music store that I use the most is independent and the people really know their stuff. I only bought one or two things from FYE. I got a Jefferson Airplane album there, Somebody To Love, it's a live album on CD and I got TSRTS Collector's Edition with all the stuff inside. I went with a friend to a little "village" place and it was lined with little shops and I found all kinds of things. My favourite find from that trip was my Alice's Restaurant vinyl.
  7. I bought myself the Forever 27 bar scene poster.
  8. I'm looking for two photos can you girls help me? Both of them include Robert, so of course I'm coming here. On of them is from August of '77 in Chicago. Robert has on a red top tucked into his jeans. It's the one with the hands on his hips. I have all of them but that one. I had it in photobucket but now it's gone. The other one is in black and white and it's Jimmy, Robert, and I think Bonzo asleep on the plane. It's very early Zep, and I think Robert has on the chainmail looking shirt. HIs hair is kind of bushy and frizzy and you can see his left cheek.
  9. Robert Plant And Alison Krauss I'd like to see them as my next show but if I don't Arlo Gutherie is the next one on the list.
  10. First of all, Jimmy Page must have lot of guts to get a bass player, dummer, AND a singer for a band. On a more serious note, I have no problems with Jeff Beck's personality. However, his professional musicianship isn't too great. He has been known to not show up at gigs, throw fits, leave during gigs, etc. It's just my opinion, but unless there is a serious, if people pay money to see you play you need to play the gig.

    Robert's Hair

    He looks so young!
  12. I was watching the eclipse and listenig to NO Quarter. It was icy out, I could see my breath and Robert goes "The dogs of doom howl and moan." and then my neighbor's dog started howling.
  13. Yes they can, and yes it does.
  14. I went over it a little bit in the ReR Chatter thread. It was amazing, they sounded great. No he didn't have a bad eyelid job. Some people have eye lids like that. Mine are my right one is just a bit heavy than the other so if you look at it for a moment it looks a bit deformed. It also increases as people age.
  15. She looks great for being 37.
  16. I was talking to anyone who will listen to me ramble aimlessly. I doubt that they have a relationship, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went public with one. It may be that they just have that natural chemistry, and it comes off that way even if it's not.
  17. I totally understand your reasoning. I may get flamed for this, but the more I look at those pictures the more I think there could be more than music in the relationship. I don't mean that there is definatly something there, for all I know Alison is married. I'm just making conversation, so don't get mad.
  18. It depends on how you think they are on a relationship basis on how you take it. It does sound better than saying grandfather though.
  19. It's great. He's really funny, not like telling jokes, but in a personality. You're quite welcome. I know you meant that in a good way, but the whole granddaughter thing is wrong on so many levels.
  20. I don't know if I posted this or not before, and I meant to mention it. He looks a lot younger in person than he does in pictures. Either way he looks great though.
