Well i could have done without it myself. My wedding was kept small (70 people) and inexpensive. I would have been fine with eloping, but family wanted something more. If i ever get married again, i am eloping and i want the ceremony to be on the beach (preferably in Florida). But most of all, i want to marry someone i'm in love with next time...lol.

Lol, i have been working on getting rid of clutter in my house for a while now. What a nice feeling to get rid of so much! I know how you feel. I'm happy Dzldoc and Uncle Mark are both safe and didn't have too much damage to their homes! I'm happy today is my daughter's first dance class, it's called Creative Dance and is combined with Ballet. I'm also happy i will be purchasing Disney on Ice tickets! Kids stuff is so much fun, sometimes...

For some (i think my excuse) he seems innocent and he is endearing. He brings out the mom/sister in me. For others, he is a challenge! Some give up, others relent, lol. But what always impresses me about Spats is, no matter how mean people are to him, he is always cordial in his response. I admire that (god knows it's hard to do)!!!

It's possible she may wait to call until she feels she has a reason. For example, if she gets invited to a party and then has an event she can invite you to. She may not be the type of girl to make the first move, and now isn't sure of her role. Well if she doesn't call, but you see her AGAIN, ask her out! Oh please. The n word is a racial slur that has always provoked deep anger. It's the most prejudice word you can use in reference to a black person. A dog in heat is called a bitch. Thank you Lake of Shadows. I ignored the post when he originally made it, allowing him his freedom of speech and not making an issue of what i thought was a bit of humor on top of his disgust. But to make it look like i said the quote using the N word, when in fact Type O is the one who said it. That is unacceptable.

Bottom line, she practices "abstinence" and apparently didn't teach her daughter birth control. I believe teaching abstinence alone is irresponsible. Didn't work out very well. That is why i say she failed as a parent. Is she so far removed from reality to expect teens aren't hormonal and won't want to experiment with sex? I believe a parent is "obligated" to educate their children on sex. If they don't do it, who will? Palin doesn't want birth control taught in schools, either, and stands by it in her policies. This is the kind of narrow-minded thinking we can expect if she gets into office. I am soley judging "her" values, not those of any other parent. If parents at least make the attempt to teach their children and this happens, that is another story. I didn't mean to outrage anyone personally. Sorry if you feel i did.
