  1. How's it going "badgeholder?" WOW! That is great that you were there also. The Forum show on 23 June 1977 is a great memory that we will never forget as long as we live. ROCK ON!
  2. How's it going "eternal light?" I'm glad to know that you were there also! 23 June 1977 was a magical night for the mighty LED ZEPPELIN. ROCK ON!
  3. How's it going "allbettsareoff?" That is so ccol to finally meet someone else that was at The Forum show on 23 June 1977 like I was! I don't what it is but LED ZEPPELIN were always in top form when they performed live in Los Angeles. I wished that the ZEPPELIN organization or Peter Grant would have approved a taping of the complete Forum 23 June 1977 show and not the Seattle Kingdome on 17 July 1977. Thats just my opinion, what do you think? ROCK ON!
  4. How's it going "TyrackT71?" I saw LED ZEPPELIN twice in their heyday which is on 23 June 1977 at The Forum in Los Angeles, California and one month later on 23 July 1977 at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California. After listening to hundreds and hundreds of LED ZEPPELIN bootlegs along with seeing ZEPPELIN twice, my favorite concert would still have to be The Forum show on 23 June 1977. ZEPPELIN was on fire that night! This show should rank as one of the band's all-time greatest shows ever performed. ROCK ON!
  5. How's it going "danelectro59?" Everyone has come up with some great choices for female vocalists that has passed through Rock n' Roll history as the Queen Of Rock n' Roll! My choices have and always will be the same as follows: 1.) Janis Joplin 2.) Grace Slick 3.) Cher 4.) Stevie Nicks 5.) Ann Wilson 6.) Carole King 7.) Carly Simon 8.) Pat Benatar 9.) Karen Carpenter 10.) Lita Ford 11.) Joan Jett 12.) Mama Cass Elliott I'm sure that there are many more great female vocalists that haven't been brought up yet. ROCK ON!
  6. How's it going "The Pagemeister?" At the moment, I am blasting my computer sound system to the powerful Hard Blues Rock sounds of FLEETWOOD MAC LIVE AT THE BOSTON TEA PARTY on 5, 6 & 7 February 1970. I am listening to the Part 2 CD which is now blasting the 24 minute long Peter Green composition masterpiece "Rattlesnake Shake." ROCK ON!
  7. How's it going "The Pagemeister?" GREAT REVIEW! Thanks for sharing it with all of us. ROCK ON!
  8. How's it going "Melanie_72" as well as our fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? This week went by fast didn't it? I hope that all is well with everyone here on the Forum. As for you "Melanie_72," it was hard to deny the many great accomplishments and achievements that STYX contributed to the Rock n' Roll world throughout the 1970's, 1980's and beyond. All I will say, as I have continually said often, STYX'S resume consisting of their own special blend of timeless Rock Music, SPEAKS FOR ITSELF! ROCK ON!
  9. How's it going "SourceNRG" A.K.A Sharon? I always hope that all is well with you. I promise you that you will be the first one to know when I see STYX. In the mean time, ROCK ON!
  10. How's it going "SourceNRG" A.K.A. Sharon? In regards to seeing STYX today in concert, thank you for highly recommending it. Because of your excellent praise for STYX today, I am seriously contemplating seeing them live the first chance that I get. Thanks again and ROCK ON!
  11. How's it going again "SourceNRG?" First of all, thank you as well as everyone for your comments on this thread. Now to answer your question. I must confess, I have not seen STYX live recently since back in the day. To be truthful with you, I was not really into STYX very much in the 1970's. The only reason why I saw STYX live twice in the 1970's is because my then girlfriend Donna loved them. I liked some of their albums but I lost track of them after the 1983 release of KILROY WAS HERE. It would be 7 years later before STYX would release EDGE OF THE CENTURY in 1990. After that, it would be 9 years later before STYX would release BRAVE NEW WORLD in 1999. As you can see, I really lost track of them after 1983. In my case, It is true that you really learn to appreciate STYX later on in life especially since songs such as "Lady" and "Come Sail Away" has so much more personal meaning for me than ever. I will dig more into STYX in the later years now that I am getting more caught up and familiar with STYX. I hope that I answered your question. If not, please let me know and I will try again for you. I always try to do my best and please our readers. In the mean time, ROCK ON!
  12. How's it going "SourceNRG?" I hope all is well with you. Thank you for bringing up the rest of the line-up changes. I do realize that STYX went through many personnel changes especially later on in their career. I only started mainly with the roots of STYX beginning in 1972 up to 1983 because it would take up a lot more writing than I already did and it would make this thread too long. I apologize for leaving the later personnel changes out of the STYX thread. ROCK ON!
