  1. How's it going "The Pagemeister?" I hope all is well with you. At the moment, I'm listening to PINK FLOYD'S 1994 album THE DIVISION BELL. ROCK ON!
  2. How's it going "theycallmethehunter" as well as our fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? I hope all is well with all of you this beautiful Thursday morning. I'm here at work dosing off after being out all night. As my Dad once said: "If you can be out all night when you have to work the next day, then you can sure as hell go in to work the same day!" In reference to this post, Steve Marriott, Robert Plant and Janis Joplin all sound alike! ROCK ON!
  3. Hi "lzfan715?" Long time no hear! I hope all is well with you. I just saw a photo of you, you are so beautiful "lzfan715!" You should be breaking a lot of hearts my dear. ROCK ON!
  4. Oh f*c* Danny, I am so sorry mate! I didn't even think about that. I thought everyone already knew you as being that. If its any consolation, I have also sent DVD-R's out to different people here on the forum as well like I've done with you Danny and I'm a government employee. Some example right? AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH SSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON my friend!
  5. How's it going "Swede?" I LOVE THE PETER GREEN Documentary! It really brings the PETER GREEN story to life. I swear, I didn't even recognize Jeremy Spencer after all of these years, he looks so much different now. ROCK ON my friend!
  6. How's it going "MisterMcLov1n?" I hope all is well with you. I also heard about the Rock Band from "beatbo" and I'm also thinking seriously about perchasing it along with both complete Stereo and Mono BEATLES collections on 9 September 2009. In doing this, I will be able to hear all the newly Digitally Remastered versions as well as the Rock Band and compare them to the complete BEATLES MFSL CD collection. I'll be able to judge for myself on which sounds better. To be truthful with you, it is going to be extremely hard and difficult to top THE BEATLES COMPLETE MFSL CD collection. Then again, I would love to hear THE BEATLES sound better. Thanks for the info and ROCK ON my friend!
  7. How's it going "CaliforniaUberAlles?" I hope all is well with you fellow BEATLES fan. I also have every BEATLES album and bootlegs on CD. However, you haven't heard the TRUEST sound quality or the music of THE BEATLES at its very best until you have bought THE BEATLES complete Bootleg MFSL (Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab) ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING CD Collection. I swear, the MFSL BEATLES collection sounds so crisp and clear with lots of undistorted bass (Even at high dB or Decibals) that it actually brings THE BEATLES music to life. It is the best sounding BEATLES collection to date. I still have every intention of purchasing the Stereo and Mono versions of THE BEATLES complete collection that is due out for release on 9 September 2009. I can't wait to buy them. ROCK ON!
  8. How's it going fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? I hope that the week is going well for all of you. I had to post a comment on this thread in order to thank "BIGDAN" A.K.A. Danny for sending me a DVD-R copy of the PETER GREEN: MAN OF THE WORLD Documentary that was shown only on the BBC in Great Britain. I must say that this Documentary really does tell the true story of PETER GREEN and holds nothing back. The main participants in the Documentary includes former band members MR. JEREMY SPENCER as well as the man himself, MR. PETER GREEN. The Documentary also includes the only remaining founding members from the 1967-1970 FLEETWOOD MAC band that are in the current FLEETWOOD MAC line-up today, MR. JOHN McVIE and MR. MICK FLEETWOOD. There are many other musicians that are also being interviewed, the one that really comes to mind at the moment is the legendary MR. JOHN MAYALL. All in all, the 1967-1970 FLEETWOOD MAC story is nothing short of incredible and unbelievable. When you think about it, like my personal friend MR. BRIAN WILSON, its really a wonder that PETER GREEN survived his personal mental torment in hell and lived to tell about it. Unfortunately, SYD BARRETT was not so lucky. PETER GREEN will and always will be in my book, one of the Top 10 All-time greatest guitarists ever. In case you are not familiar with PETER GREEN and have not read this thread, please read it. In doing this, you will contribute by helping bring back a real true legend that almost got lost in Rock n' Roll history forever. Thank you for reading this comment and ROCK ON my fellow ZEPPELIN fanatics!
  9. How's it going "The Pagemeister?" I hope all is well with you. Right now, I'm listening to the song "Can't You See" by THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND. ROCK ON!
  10. How's it going "ally?" Long time no hear! I hope all is well with you. ROCK ON!
  11. How's it going "CaliforniaUberAlles?" I hope all is well with you. In my opinion, the BEATLES bootleg MFSL CD collection sounds better than ANY BEATLES CD albums or collections to date. In my opinion, I also don't think that even the new remasters that are going to be released 9 September 2009 will top THE BEATLES bootleg MFSL CD collection. However, I am going to purchase both THE BEATLES' Stereo and Mono version collections on 9 September 2009 and give myself the satisfaction to be the judge for myself on which sounds better. ROCK ON!
  12. How's it going "TyrackT71?" I saw LED ZEPPELIN twice in 1977. The first one was at the L.A. Forum on 23 June 1977. The second one was one month later at the Oakland Coliseum on 23 July 1977. My favorite concert or the best concert that I ever saw or heard was the L.A. Forum show on 23 June 1977, that was one of ZEPPELIN'S all-time greatest shows ever. I was so lucky and fortunate to have seen the mighty LED ZEPPELIN twice during the 1977 tour. ROCK ON!
  13. How's it going "The Pagemeister" as well as our fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? I hope the day is going well with all of you. At the moment, I am listening to the songs "Miracles" and "With your Love" by JEFFERSON STARSHIP. I love these songs, these are great love songs. ROCK ON!
  14. How's it going "SourceNRG" A.K.A. Sharon? I am enjoying my trip very much, thank you for asking. Until Sunday, ROCK ON! "ZeppFanForever" A.K.A. John.
  15. Oh goddammit Charles, I am so sorry to hear about that! My prayers are with you and your family during your time of grief. ROCK ON!
  16. How's it going "The Pagemeister" as well as our fellow die hard hard core ZEPPELIN fanatics? I hope that the week is treating all of you well. At the moment, I am listening to MICHAEL JACKSON'S THRILLER album in its entirety from the bar here in Sacramento, California. ROCK ON!
  17. How's it going "SourceNRG" A.K.A. Sharon? I hope all is well with you. In reference to your question, yes, I did see STYX and REO SPEEDWAGON live on 17 July 2009. I loved every minute of that concert but I am still here in Yuba City, California using my sister's computer very late at the moment. I will be back home in San Antonio on Sunday night where I will be able to go more into detail of the concert on 17 July 2009. Thank you for asking and reminding me. I also want to thank you for recommending that I see STYX live, it was definitely worth it. ROCK ON!
  18. How's it going "SourceNRG" A.K.A. Sharon? I always hope that life is treating you well. Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration on helping me stay sober enough to remember the concert. Thanks for yor recommendation in reference to me wearing some nice dark shades for the concert, I just bought a nice pair today. I will let you know how the concert went the minute I get back home. In the mean time, take care and ROCK ON!
  19. How's it going "SourceNRG" A.K.A. Sharon? I hope all is well with you and your family. As promised, I told you that I would let you know when I get my chance to see both STYX and REO SPEEDWAGON. And my chance just happened today thanks to my sister in Yuba City, California. As it turns out, my sister Linda, my daughter Lydia and a few of their friends are going to the STYX/REO SPEEDWAGON concert on Friday, 17 July 2009 at 7:30 P.M. at the Harvey's Outdoor Arena in Lake Tahoe, Nevada (Stateline, NV.). I just bought my ticket and its on the ground floor near the stage in Section 9 Row 22. According to the venue map, this is a very good view of the stage. Hell, it should be, it costs me over $180.00. It'll be great to travel back home to the Sacramento/Yuba City, California areas to visit my family and friends, I haven't been home in a little while so this is like a homecoming bash for me. On the way to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, I can just imagine how much partying we're going to be participating in since all of my, my sister's and my daughter's friends will be participating in all of the festivities all day and all night long. Hopefully, I won't party my ass off so much to a point where I do not even remember the concert. We'll just have to wait and see what happens on concert day which is on Friday, 17 July 2009. Until then, take care and ROCK ON!
  20. How's it going "zosodude13?" In my opinion, SUPERTRAMP'S CRIME OF THE CENTURY album is one of the band's top 2 best albums (The other album is BREAKFAST IN AMERICA.) that they ever recorded. Songs such as "School," "Bloody Well Right," "Dreamer," "If Everyone Was Listening" and "Crime Of the Century" to name a few, are a true testament of SUPERTRAMP at their absolute best. Also check out SUPERTRAMP'S BREAKFAST IN AMERICA album if you haven't done so yet, that is another great SUPERTRAMP album. ROCK ON!
  21. WOW Danny, all of this talk on the Blues makes me want to listen to the KING OF THE DELTA BLUES HIMSELF, ROBERT JOHNSON! ROCK ON!
  22. How's it going Danny? Its amazing how you can remember all of the female icons and I don't! Ha Ha! Tina Turner is an all-time great, I can't deny that! I just seemed to have overlooked her since she stepped out of the limelight for many years until 1984 and later with her retirement. Have you heard TINA TURNER'S ACID QUEEN album from 1975? Tina actually does renditions of the classic songs "Under My Thumb," "Let's Spend The Night Together," "Acid Queen," "I Can See For Miles," "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE" and "I've Been Loving You Too Long." Tina's version of "Whole Lotta Love" is arranged and sounds completely different from the original. You have to hear it to believe it. ROCK ON my friend!
  23. I know guys, I left Tina out of my all-time greatest female lists and I should be ashamed of myself. I will remember to include Tina in the future. And lets not forget Joni and Emmylou! Damn, there are more great female artists than I thought! DAMN! ROCK ON!
  24. What's up Danny? I am very familiar with RORY GALLAGHER'S music and I think that his music is out of this world! Come to think of it, there are similarities in Peter Green's and Rory Gallagher's guitar styles or should I say that Rory Gallagher copied a lot of Peter Green's guitar style. You can honestly say that Mick Taylor, David Gilmour, Carlos Santana and Rory Gallagher copied a lot of Peter Green's trademark guitar style which is great because the legend of PETER GREEN LIVES! ROCK ON!
  25. This ones for you "BIGDAN!" LED ZEPPELIN & PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC RULES! "BIGDAN," PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC (1967-1970) is the ONLY band that I would even dare to compare to early LED ZEPPELIN! Now lets go and chase some women here on the Forum! Ha Ha! A QUICK EDIT! What did you think of the FLEETWOOD MAC LIVE AT THE BOSTON TEA PARTY PARTS 1, 2 & 3? ROCK ON!
