mcginn2
A friend of mine said that Zepplin did a cover of the song "Street Walking Woman" but I can't find it anywhere. Does anybody know if they did and if so, was it on an album?
Aquamarine
It certainly wasn't on an (official) album. Who was the original by?
SteveAJones
Who was the original by? Marlena Shaw. There are no known recordings in existence of Led Zeppelin performing this song and I've seen no evidence (quotes, comments, books, etc) to suggest they ever did. SteveAJones
Song wasn't released until '74 and most of their '75, '77 & '80 concerts are in circulation so I'd have to say. The only songs remotely close that they did do are James Brown's 'Licking Stick' & 'Sex Machine' (LA Forum '75)

zosodude13
Maybe there is some confusion between "Street Walking Woman" and 'Street Corner Girl', the sort of unofficial name I've heard used for "Hey Hey What Can I Do"...?
