(Bit of Jimmy in there somewhere too) http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00dzzv0/Les_Paul_Chasing_Sound/ Sadly it's only for UK residents - would have loved to have seen. I've heard it was very well done.

longdistancewinner
It's got to be for UK residents only because UK residents fund the Beeb through a T.V/Radio licence. Though it's a shame it can't be watched worldwide, it would also be unfair, since we'd have to pay the BBC and you wouldn't.
Dzldoc
Ok, sort of like PBS except instead of asking for donations for funding you all are taxed?
NickZepp
I think this is the same version as the PBS one from about 2 years ago.

Though it's a shame it can't be watched worldwide, it would also be unfair, since we'd have to pay the BBC and you wouldn't. Mind you, many other things which we pay taxes for locally are also used for the benefit of the world in general (and the same applies in most other countries, of course), so I'm not sure it's really an issue of unfairness. I know that, as a BBC licence payer myself, I'd be totally cool with iPlayer being opened up to the world for free. But I suppose the more important issue would be the massive bandwidth stressing if the whole planet suddenly started downloading BBC programmes.
