Administrators sam_webmaster Posted March 24, 2010 Administrators Share Posted March 24, 2010 http://www.rollingst...ses-away-at-74/ Jim Marshall, the photographer who captured some of rock & roll's most unforgettable images including photos of Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar at Monterey Pop and Johnny Cash flipping the bird at San Quentin, died in his sleep last night in New York. He was 74.
redrum
Yep, he was one of the greats. Must've been awesome to have had that access. I just looked at a huge book called 'Photo By Sammy' and it was all photographs by Sammy Davis Jr. including the Rat Pack and just about every other Hollywood star back in the day. I loved him in 'Robin And The Seven Hoods' with his vest that held 2 .38 revolvers.
