bigzepfan
Here's Slash and Myles Kennedy doing Communication Breakdown. This is from the fourth row from the Borgata Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City, NJ 5=22=10. Video taken by none other than bigzepfan! He played his main set, went offstage and came out with this for an encore. I was nearly in shock! as I had no idea he would play this. Great show all around. Plenty of hard rock and roll. They played Guns n roses, Velvet Revolver, Snakepit, Zep!, Alter Bridge and several new Slash songs. I'll post a photo of the setlist later. Enjoy: FYI, the first two minutes is crowd chanting for them to come back out. Edited May 24, 2010 by bigzepfan
TypeO
Whoa, dude - fan-fucking-tastic vid. That's a great result from just standing in the crowd. I bet that was QUITE unexpected. I thought I could hear y'all guessing what the encore might be - Paradise City. I'm sure that was an awesome surprise.
bigzepfan
Thanks bro! I can't believe how good of a vid this sony takes. I was fourth row. i can't imagine if I was on slash' side of the stage. Paradise was the final encore. After seeing Myles Kennedy sing CB I'm sort of glad that jp and jpj didn't move forward with him. I totally respect his voice and enthusiasm, but i just don't feel he's right for zep...then again i don't think anyone other than robert would be right for the job. The other surprise of the night was night train...and no jungle. Uploading slither now. That's got band intro and, of course, killer shredding. Shouldn't be long. Watching YouTube video of them doing Beggars And Hangers-On and he does this one very nicely. Great song!

No disrespect intended but judging by the audience reaction, you and I might have been the only ones who got it Looked like everyone else was just...there man !!! bigzepfan
It's that way at alot of casino shows. They give out many many comp tickets, usually right up front to their VIP's who usually don't really want to go to the show, they just want to get out of the casino for awhile. I can't tell you how many people inside/online asked me who slash was. I simply replied. He's a rock and roll guitarist!! it makes it very interesting when i go apeshit nuts and bang my frigging head and many are just watching. i think the old folks get a kick out of it The good side of casino shows: They also often release tix last minute when the vip's don't show up. I was able to get fourth row the night of the show. They would have gone for $350-500 each just before the show(I've been watching several brokers sites for the tix) and i got them for 42.50 each. bigzepfan
Well I don't know about that LOL but thank you. I've been around the block so to say at casinos. OK ready for the next one. You'e going to owe for this one LOL. when you are standing by the box office area trying to scalp keep your eye on what the buyers get at the booth(if you can). If they get something extra with their tickets and not just their tickets they are VIP's. (They often get free drink coupons as well when they pick up their tix). Now you know how to figure out who gets free tix and who really came for the show and paid for their tickets. Next: To most vip's --- getting face value of the show is a grand slam win in their book. they didn't even have to make a bet and they won. Don't offer them hundreds for front row even if they are going for thousands at a broker. Many do not know the value to a real fan or even care about that. I've also tried the - this is my girlfriend and I's favorite band and we really reallly wanted to go but the tickets were sold out and we decided to come all the way here even without tickets hoping to get in. is there any chance that you might have tickets? I can't tell you how many times the wife looks at the husband and says "I didn't really want to go anyway honey". So then they make somebody's day and still get some cash instead of a show they don't really care about. It's Win-Win. My motto is the person who comes up with the most win-wins in life goes the furthest!!! I see you're from Jersey. I'll be there June 5 for Jeff Beck. The Borgata. Hope you can make it! Rock On!
