Sounds pretty cool, but Telluride,Colorado is a bit far for me to travel for a show. But, I'm sure it will be a great time. Great summertime fun!

It is very beautiful in that whole area of southwest Colorado, and lots to do and see including riding the Narrow Gauge Locomotive located in Durango.

An article posted in the Telluride Daily Planet about the festival.

I spent a week in SW colorado this fall, it was a wonderful trip - did the train ride which was fantastic. Only had a few hours in Telluride, but would love to spend more time there. If you are into the outdoors, it is absolutely beautiful. If anyone is planning a vacation this summer, it would be great to plan a trip around this festival.

Press coverage in the local newspaper this week:

“And this summer, he is coming to the tiny box canyon of Telluride to play the Telluride Bluegrass Festival with his new roots band, which features a lineup of ace musicians like Patty Griffin and Darrell Scott.”

"The band cut a well-received album late this summer that is heavy on vintage sounds and roots music, and is embarking on a tour next summer that will see a stop on the Bluegrass stage."

So the shows WILL continue at least into the summer! More dates to come. Great.
