chris7800
Good afternoon. My name is Chris. I'm from Holland, love Led Zeppelin and m new to this board. I'm looking for someone who can tell me more about that famous first pressing of the first album with the turqoise lettering. I'm really looking for the specifics. I thought that this might the best place to start.

Succes. The Only Way To Fly
I don't read Dutch but was able to follow nearly all of that exchange!
craigled
Suppose there is some modern way of translating it.

chris7800
Good afternoon. I will stop with this exchange of Dutch posts. I realize that this is not very polite. Apologies. Bottomline is i own the first album with the turqoise lettering and i'm trying te determine if it's a genuine pressing. I did the usual discogs research and the links that were provided here are also very helpfull. Thanks again. All things considered i thing there is a good chance that the cover is the real thing but the record inside is the one that is described on Discogs as version 5 with the scratched out number 8. There is however another issue with the cover. It contains an autograph that i cant' read. All in all there a quite a few things that makes the mind wonder what kind of release this is.
