But, just wondering if the messenger on the bicycle who delivered to Plant the "telegram" about "tour dates" had any backstory/comments?

And why the f--- didn't Percy tip him? 😄

Tipping in the UK isn't as common as here in the USA, and I imagine even less so back in the early 70's.
