SteveZ98
The first album from one of my favorite bands from the early '70s, Dust. Anybody have any others?
paul carruthers
I would say any album by Prince where he's either naked, or just wearing underwear...
Ian Smith
Why have I never heard of Dust? Love it. The bass player is on fire. Hey Steve thanks for turning me on to these guys.

Hey Steve thanks for turning me on to these guys. Glad you like them. The bass player was Kenny Aaronson, who had a good career after leaving Dust. The drummer was Marc Bell, who as Marky Ramone went on to become the drummer for The Ramones. And the guitar player / singer was Richie Wise, who went on to produce the first two Kiss albums. Too bad Dust isn't better known. I'm guessing the atrocious cover for their first album didn't help.

One of my other favorite bands from the early '70s is Jukin' Bone. Similar story to Dust. Two excellent but under appreciated albums and then they broke up. At least their cover art was better than Dust's. Edited July 10, 2023 by SteveZ98

Hackenbush
Sabotoge is pretty bad but if you hear the story behind it, it makes sense why it was a disaster. My entry is the S/T album by the band Felt (May 1971). Even the band hated it. Amazing album and not very well known. You can find it here: https://felt2.bandcamp.com/album/felt Edited July 11, 2023 by Hackenbush

My life needs more "new" music like this. This stuff just makes me happy. Hey Steve, thanks brother L
ZepHead315
The original cover for Scorpions' Virgin Killer album would probably be the winner, since it could qualify as child pornography (there was even a legal court case in the UK over the image being on Wikipedia) and would almost certainly result in a ban were it shared here, hence why I'm not posting it. Other candidates: Note: the Gentle Giant cover is of a peach, not an ass, still a hideous cover though. SuperDave
Then there is always this. This isn't offensive in any way as the band didn't think so! Edited July 12, 2023 by SuperDave
