  1. "because you could then hear not just what he played but also how he interacted with Bonzo and JPJ, which to me made his playing even more interesting (and also gave me a new found appreciation for their skills, both individually and as a rhythm section)." GREAT explanation Steve, thanks for taking the time to do that. Indeed this is a band, in the truest sense of the word. And the guy above me who said " Thanks for the attention to detail you provide us all with", I agree with him. Cheers Steve
  2. Seems like every Steve remaster has one thing that shines above everything else. Don't get me wrong, every instrument sounds amazing but here, for example, Page's guitar comes through so clear and clean. Ya did it again Steve. Wow brother thanks as always. Do you do that on purpose Steve or is it more a feel thing? I guess I am asking how do you balance things? Is it to your taste or a general "what would people like?" thing? You know me, I love the shows where JPJ is way high in the mix. But this one, like I said, you can hear every note Page plays so clearly. What a revelation. Much respect my friend. L
  3. A huge shout out to our friend Steve for his amazing work on these shows. I have a big file of SteveZ remasters and I hang out there a lot. Probably too much if you ask my wife 😁 The drums here are outstanding!!!!!! Great balance too. NO DOUBT in my mind Bonham is the best rock drummer of all time. And it ain't even close. Much love and respect and thanks as always Steve. Your legacy is deep my friend.
  4. Does anyone here really like this duo's music? Honestly asking. Just leaves me cold. To me it is like they are not even trying. The band smokes though.
  5. Damn Steve this production of yours is a 10/10. You did this show proud. I will always go with broken and damaged and raw '75 and '77 Zep as my fave but this is so damn heavy and I get that people think this is Zep at their all time peak. Well done once again my friend.
  6. My life just got 16 seconds better......
  7. Welcome my friend. Beware the haters and dicks here. In amongst their trash is some good.
  8. That hole you are digging is as sad as it is deep
  9. Be kind to Newbies? Or just f'ing be kind and respectful in general. This place is a shithole with 1% great good content. Hey mods, kick my kind and respectful ass off if you want, my life will continue.......
  10. One of the reasons I hang around here is for the levels of douchebaggery. They are as sad as they are hilarious. I am sure their days are very valuable..........
  11. Hey Nat, warning if you are new here. most of the responses here will be like that. Know it alls, sarcasm etc. I am just glad I am not these people. Cheers to you.
  12. Over the Hills and Far Away has everything in it. Not an easy song to get the hang of but one to work on slowly. And when you get it down it is always impressive. Good luck. Also I do not know if you have it already but there is a huge coffee-table like book called Led Zeppelin - The Complete Studio Recordings. All tab and most of it pretty damn accurate. It is a must for Zep guitar fans. Cheers from Quebec.
  13. Oh I'd need at least one In The Light in there. Please.
  14. GREAT reply, wow so many thanks. Now I actually hear lipstick traces. Thanks. I will try and find those magazines. Damn my friend you know your stuff. I appreciate your help.
  15. My OCD kicks in and I obsess about getting things 100% right. I am working on my definitive Zeppelin lyric book (every oooh and ahhh) and I am having trouble with IMToD lyrics. 4:03 - Both verses, is it HARM or never did no WRONG? At times I hear both 4:39 - I hear both "I've only been this young once" and "I've only made the young ones" 6:23 - Is it "I must have left some traces" or something with "lipstick traces"? Also is it make IT my dying bed or make UP my dying bed? Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.
  16. Love that it is done on the softness of nylon strings. What a great version. Thanks for the post.
