  1. Always respect what you post my friend. The anger and know-it-alls here are hilarious.
  2. When that descending guitar lick kicks in it's goosebumps every time. Nice post.
  3. Wow, the angry caps convinced me.............
  4. Honestly me too but on a few lyric sites it does say Cocaine. And on the O2 , to my ears anyway, he clearly says Cook it so why would he change it from the original? I am not convinced. Thanks Hummingbird.
  5. Just watched the O2 performance a few times and I still think he says "Cook it" Honestly still don't hear a clear Cocaine on the studio version but a huge thanks to everyone here who helped out. I appreciate your ears.
  6. Some guy on Twitter posted the For Your Life version from the O2 and he quoted "cocai, cocai, cocaine". I wrote back that he was singing "Cook it cook it cook it"". We went back and forth. It did not end well. I wrote to him that clearly the next line goes "Could not stand to try it fry it" referencing cooking. What do you all hear? Seems clear to me. And damn this tune is in my Top 10. Oh I'd like to have you, baby, but I don't know what to doooooooooo, yeah, Sometime baby, nothin' I could doooooooooooo
  7. Is that you always thanking people so kindly on "dime" and sending greetings from Mauritius? If so I always smile when I write my thanks too. You always make me smile. If that is not you, welcome my friend.
  8. I wish we could have heard Custard > Rover once. Just once. And In The Light.
  9. First time I heard Misty Mountain Hop at 14 years old my life changed forever. When the drums came in my mind was blown!
  10. The drums sound amazing!!!!!! Thanks for sharing
  11. Would still love a download of it but thanks for the youtube heads-up. I have it playing now. The energy is jaw-dropping.
  12. I was wondering if any kind soul here could help me find the "Burn Like A Candle". Genuine Masters version - LA June 25 1972 It came up on a recent thread here (thanks chillumpuffer) as a killer substitute for How The West Was Won. Wondering if anyone could get it to me somehow. MP3 (320 hopefully) is more than fine. Flac too. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who reads this.
  13. Just listened to a bit of this on my real good headphones and it is amazing!!!!!! Now I have to find it........ Thanks.
  14. Many thanks for helping me out. I found the 76 album version and No Quarter indeed clocks in at over 2 minutes longer than the reissues. Now I am running to look for Burn Like a Candle. Much appreciated my friend.
  15. I am just learning about this, what is the time on the FULL version so I can look for it. I have TSRTS 2018 remaster (?) and it clocks in at 10:38. Can someone steer me to full version? Many Thanks.
  16. That my friend is so well said. I agree with everything. And like you said, when I was a teen I worked at a gas station for peanuts and would save and save for a Zep bootleg album and back then there was no internet for reviews. And the guys would not let me listen to them before and I bought. So many times I spent most of my hard earned money on garbage. I don't stream (not that I am against it) but I know places on the web to get anything and everything. I really try not to steal music but all those "Remasters" Page releases (and Pink Floyd and and and and) hell yeah, I am stealing them like a mofo. No more of my money is going to anything Zeppelin. And hell yeah the community of talented people (cough------SteveZ--------cough) who remaster, Oh I love and appreciate what those people do.
  17. Have you seen this version of the "Rolling Stones"? Now that is some way-past-their-prime shit. 50,000 people packing stadiums to watch that. Keith messing up the most basic of riffs, Mick no longer singing but reciting. But the money is still pouring in......
