  1. Hard pass for me on this whole "Bro/Dude-rock" thing. Gotta say damn do I love Michael's high harmonies. Huge part of the VH sound. But hey they look like they are having fun so good on them.
  2. This right here, the voice of calm and reason. You raised the bar on this thread and for that I thank you.
  3. Thanks so much for the info. Too bad no one had the tapes rolling.......
  4. Saw on Twitter that Zeppelin played a 45 minute set at some place called Behan's in (West Park?) New Jersey in 1975. First of all can't believe I would have missed this and second of all has someone got the recording, if it exists? I would so love to hear it. Searched all my usual haunts and can not find it anywhere. Many thanks.
  5. Thanks for the info. Really really dug it.
  6. That Blues Fever is a KILLER tune. What is the tuning on the acoustic(s)? And the bass is thumping! Great job my friend.
  7. Dadgad does some amazing remasters indeed
  8. Oh that is glorious! Bonham is so heavy on that. GREAT post John.
  9. Agree 100%. I too saw it in theatres long before VCRs etc and my friends and I hated the fantasy shit. What person wants to see that instead of live footage of them PLAYING the songs? I still do not get it. I guess it was someone's "idea" of art.
  10. I'll take history of Ancient Egypt please Alex.........
  11. Can hardly wait to hear it Steve. Much like Forrest Gump I will sit here waiting........😜
  12. Damn, a huge thanks to everyone finding and bringing these gems to us.
  13. Both these remind me just how great SteveZ really is! Much respect my friend.
  14. Dogs of Doom just make my life better. Thanks to everyone involved with brings us this gem.
  15. Nice! Thanks for posting. And damn what a picture as well.
  16. Downloading bootlegs is NOTHING like downloading official releases. I respect whatever you do, like I already said but your anger, for whatever reason is coming through. You do what you do and I will do what I do. Like I said my days of spending $150 for crap are done. Zeppelin in all it's form has gotten more of my money than my kids have. Me it's about the music and the performance, never the packaging. If Physical was in a white envelope it would still be just as good. All that said good luck to you. I respect whatever gets ya through the day.
  17. Good answer, bit angry but good answer. I never feel "wiser" for getting them for free. But I do feel "dumber" for all the crap I bought at $150 a pop at Rock on Stocke on Crescent street in Montreal. But back then you could not preview what you are buying, today I guess you can with all the shows available online. I respect anyone whatever they do as long as they are kind and not hurting anyone. I spent thousands of $$$$$ on shows that were almost unlistenable. THAT makes me angry. But damn that bootleg store was a cool one, until the Quebec government stepped in and shut it down. I don't know what was dirtier, the store or the people who worked there 😜
  18. Damn that is one controversial statement. I love it. Don't agree at all but love your balls for saying it. Only saw them on the 95 tour and Page was pure fire the whole time. Amazing.
  19. Who still buys bootlegs? Honestly asking. You know that 5 minutes after anything is released it is up on all our fave bootleg websites. My days of spending $150 for shitty sounding box sets are long over. All my 2 cents. If you do still buy them I would love to know why? A collector's thing? I have respect for whatever y'all do as long as you are not hurting anyone. Except liking Greta Van Douchebags. That I will not tolerate! 😳 Hey I am not a saint 😇
  20. Great story. I am not jealous of much in my life but people like you seeing Zeppelin and sitting close and having a toke or two, well that makes me jealous.
  21. It still blows my mind that there are people who SAW these shows and witnessed Zeppelin live. F Superman, y'all are the real heroes 😜
