LedZepIV
On 14 Feb 1972, Led Zeppelin was supposed to kick off their Australasian tour in Singapore. But they had to cancel the concert. Singapore officials refused Zeppelin into the country because of local laws prohibiting men with long hair. The tour went on to start in Perth, Australia on Feb 16th. Also on 14 Feb 1975, Led Zeppelin played their second concert in Uniondale, NY. The previous night, Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, joined Zep on stage for an encore of "Communication Breakdown". Joelmon
They also played in Miami, Florida at Thee Image Club in 1969... One bootleg release in particular....was very cool... Too bad the Beatles never had one of their bootlegs parody a Zeppelin album....
Rock Action
Ha! That wouldn't be the first Beatles cover parody.
Ninedisks
What a larf! Good idea to link together two of the most influential bands, given that both have an effect on todays music etc etc.

I'd love to hear some good bootleg. That is excellent stuff you've got there!!
reids
So, is Plant the Walrus or is he the Eggman??? Is that Peter Grant (the blue meanie with the money bags)??? Cool covers. Yep. It would be cool to see some Beatle boot covers imitating Zep album covers. R

Sunray782
Love the Beatles covers! Aren't there also some covers with the Zep versions of A Hard Day's Night and Please Please Me? I believe from the Japanese shows in '71.
