Jarlaxle 56
This topic is to post songs that you'd like to hear a band or artist cover, other than the one who wrote it. I'd like to hear Tool do a version of "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes.
Big Klu
Richard Thompson solo acoustic - Zep's Achillies Last Stand. I cant envision it at all, just like I couldn't envision him doing a cover of Oops! I did it Again before I actually heard it. Dude rules. I actually always thought Gary numans Cars would be a great rock song and should be covered, then it was by Fear factory and its awsome !! I would like to see Aha's Take on me done by a metal band !! there are lots of pop songs that I would like metal bands to cover !
GetTheLedOut
I would love to hear the White Stripes do a version of Gimme Shelter. I'd love to hear what Jack would do with that song.
Virginia
I bet Lorde would do a really interesting version of "When the Levee Breaks".
Sathington Willoughby
Every time I hear this I think it would've been cool in one of Zep's HMMT/WLL medleys.
jimmie ray
Anything that you don't hear any more, even if it's been covered in the 60s. Old Howlin' Wolf, Big Bill Bronzy, Hank Williams...
