ISIS Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Just heard this guy, fantastic blues guitarist and his producer is Kevin "Caveman" Shirley and Jason has played on one of his albums. Check him out, especially Sloe Gin. Quote
danelectro Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Joe has amazing chops but has a tendency to over-play IMO. He is an amazing talent, Danny Gatton thought so and if Danny thought he was good that's saying something. Quote
alien Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 check out his 'Live from Nowhere in Particular' Quote
MHD Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Jason in the studio with Joe. Keven Shirley is to Jason's right. Quote
Stargroves Tangie Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Just saw Joe live recently at BB Kings in NYC- great show. He's still doing the Dazed & Confused solo during his cover of ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid", but shorter than he did on last year's tour. Quote
ally Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 check out his 'Live from Nowhere in Particular' It's a real good album Quote
MadScreamingGallery Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Joe is fantastic. I'm fairly certain that I've written about him in another thread on this board. My husband and I have seen him live several times and look forward to his coming back to this part of the U.S. on his next tour. He strikes me as a really nice person too. There were a couple of photos taken of Joe at the Classic Music Awards in London: in the first photo, he was with Jeff Beck and in the second, he was with Gary Moore. In both photos, Joe looked so very happy. Quote
ISIS Posted November 14, 2008 Author Posted November 14, 2008 Listen to Joe's (with Jason) version of Tea for one. Christ, it's even better than the original. It's on his album "You & Me" Quote

Joe came out and signed pics & cds and posed for photos for everybody, even though you could see in his eyes he was totally exhausted. Cool guy. Quote
