Tor__Hershman
Here's a place for each of us to post our own art works, blogs, YouTube, etc. Express yourselves. Here's one of mine entitled "Everybody's Andy Warhol For 15 Minutes"
TypeO
I'm a graphic artist, and I used to compete regularly on a Photoshop themed contest site called Worth1000.com. It's one of the biggest such sites and actually has a reputation for producing many hoax photos that have made the rounds on the internet. There is a YouTube video that was sent around which is basically the same version of an email that was forwarded pretty much everywhere called When Graphic Artists Get Bored, and practically all of the photos were from Worth. Anyway, I have tons of entries from there, I even actually won Gold Medals in 2 contests, which I consider somewhat of a big deal in consideration of the depth of the talent pool there. Here's a few of my better ones... Click the thumbnails to get a good view of the details - especially the Zeppelin poster at the end. My very first win at Worth. The contest theme was Super Stunts (depict an outrageous stunt) My second First-Place. The contest was Mate a Car (combine 2 or more vehicles to make a single vehicle) This was created from these 2 versions of the Maybach - an old 1941 Maybach and a new Maybach 62 And a couple music-related entries... From the contest The Secret Life of Santa Claus (what he does the rest of the year) I suggested Santa tours with Norwegian Black-Metal groups. From a challenge contest for KISS Animals. Lastly, and most appropriate for this forum, an Engrish contest where I submitted an Engrish version of a fairly recognizable poster from back in the day. In case you don't know what ENGRISH is. Tor__Hershman
Wow, Type O, that is one super sleek vehicle. I bet Jay Leno would pay to have them joined. Ozzy Claus and Kiss Canine are both quite amusing. Thanks for the heads-up on Worth1000; I may give it go, myself. You're a mighty fine artist. Reswati, that's quite an endorsement for weird music & incense, it's a most compellingly well appointed artwork. You're a mighty fine artist, as well. & now...me Golden Owl..... Oh, if anyone would care to download, print and display me wee works, please do so BUT, if anyone should ask (You may also win the lottery and get hit by lightning @ the same time), ya gots to say they're me works. TypeO
Something I did today for a contest on a site. The instructions were to use the image below somehow. These are the source images I used. This is generally the part where someone says, "This looks 'shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few 'shops in my time." zepscoda
Very nice golden owl Tor Hershman! Its wings and body opens the door for pattern recognition.
Tor__Hershman
That's wonderfully scarry, Reswati. TypeO, you're about a quadrillion years beyond moi's photo-morphin' ability. I use PhotoImpact 4.2 and that's all. However, I do make an amusing statement, IMO, from time to time, e.g.,

redrum
ReDrum, MOST LOL amusingly well done. It's like Fez The Fuzz (from "That 70's Show). Kinda takes the edge off the seriousness of Harry. :^)
redrum
Some of my drawings. I drew my sunglasses one night in drawing class. The overhead lights are reflected in the lenses. The scrathboard is a copy of a watercolor. It took 4 months to do and it's only about 5x8 inches. Very tedious. :^)

Zoe
I only started drawing a couple of years ago but I really love it. Here's a couple of little things but you can check out more of my work on instagram http://instagram.com/artbyzec/. I mainly draw portraits and I'm aiming for photorealism, still a long way off though. Kelvin Okafor is a big inspiration. Completely loving the learning experience and wish I'd of taken it up sooner! I have a self-portrait and a portrait of Jimmy Page planned, which I will definitely post here when it's finished! That will probably be within the next couple of months.
