  1. Top 5 film directors: 1. Stanley Kubrick 2. Alfred Hitchcock 3. Steven Spielberg 4. David Lean 5. Frank Capra
  2. I understand what you mean about tornados. They're scary! We don't get as many in the Louisville area as you do in Oklahoma. I remember one day my family and I were eating out and as we were leaving the restaurant, the sky looked really dark and ominous. When we got on the road I looked back toward the river (Ohio river) and I saw a HUGE funnel cloud in the sky, and I screamed at my dad to drive faster! Thankfully, it didn't touch down! So, yes I'm ready for spring, but I wish we didn't have to put up with the darned tornados.
  3. Led Zeppelin has NO fillers!! That's one of the reasons why they're my favorite band. Every album is solid, in my opinion, and I usually don't skip any songs (well... maybe I do skip one: Hot Dog!).
  4. Top 5 Animated Disney Movies: 1. Beauty and the Beast 2. Aladdin 3. Bambi 4. The Little Mermaid 5. Sleeping Beauty (I have to mention 101 Dalmations, also!) Top 5 Non-Animated Disney Movies: 1. Mary Poppins 2. Bedknobs and Broomsticks 3. Flight of the Navigator 4. Candleshoe 5. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
  5. Top 5 scents from Bath & Body Works: 1. Japanese Cherry Blossom 2. Orange Sapphire (it's new) 3. Twilight Woods 4. P.S. I Love You 5. Sheer Fresia
  6. Neither. I'm sick of American Idol! "Roman Holiday" or "Breakfast at Tiffany's"?
  7. `74-`75. They were at the height of their creativity then, recording PG in `74 and playing some great shows in `75.
  8. I can't believe no one has mentioned Heart! The female version of Led Zeppelin. Dreamboat Annie is a masterpiece! Sing Child sounds a lot like The Crunge.
  9. My top 5 Steven Spielberg films: 1. Close Encounters of the Third Kind 2. ET 3. Raiders of the Lost Ark 4. Jaws 5. Jurassic Park
  10. Definitely CATS! Mocha latte or Caramel latte?
  11. Pencils. Every time I use a pen, I end up with ink on my fingers! Another one for sci-fi fans: "1984" or "Brave New World"?
  12. I'm soooooo sick of snow!! Usually, I don't complain about it, but this year, I just can't stand it anymore! I'm just grateful that we haven't had an ice storm like we had last year. Last year our power was off for about two weeks and I had to stay at my Grandma's house (which is really tiny). I nearly went insane!
  13. Me too! I was raised on musicals and Fred & Ginger will forever be my favorite dancers! I always thought they had such perfect chemistry. My favorite Fred & Ginger movie is the first one I ever saw: Top Hat. I finally got all their movies on DVD. I have them all memorized, but it was fun watching them again. Also, I just finished reading both of their autobiographies - they were very interesting!
  14. College!! (Go IU! Actually, IU is pretty terrible! So, I guess this season I'll root for UK. ) For Sci-Fi fans: Arthur C. Clarke or Isaac Asimov?
  15. I don't know if this has been posted yet, but here's a clip of Robert on "Pop Quiz" in 1983. I accidently found this clip when I was looking for ELO stuff! (Robert's team wins!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDWJbu5HfhM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNSLoZPk4_M&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrD-_r1wbNA&feature=related
  16. My top 5 Alfred Hitchcock films: 1. Rebecca 2. Psycho 3. The Birds 4. North by Northwest 5. Rear Window
  17. Yes, when I was little, I think I got on the wrong school bus. But fortunately I realized my mistake before the bus left. HYE broken your middle finger? (I did, and I must say that I enjoyed raising my middle finger to everyone in school, showing them what had happened!)
  18. We did that too! We hiked through the woods, told ghost stories around the campfire, and I think we roasted marshmallows also. We slept in a barn up on the hayloft, and I remember I couldn't go to sleep because there were so many mosquitoes buzzing in my ears!! Overall, I had a pretty good time.
  19. Definitely Kittens!! Silver or Gold?
  20. Those are my favorites also. They used to have some called Juliettes and Aloha Chips (I think), and I really liked both of them. I wish they would bring them back! I was a Brownie when I was about 7 or 8, and I can't remember selling any cookies to anyone other than family members. (I guess I wasn't that motivated!) My fondest memory of being a Brownie was when we had a sleep over at the Louisville Science Center (it was with all of the local troops). It was kind of spooky after they turned all the lights out! I remember we had to sleep in a huge hall next to the IMAX theatre and that I had to brush my teeth at the water fountain. I also remember going to the gift shop and buying a dehydrated ice-cream sandwich (space food) - it tasted awful!! (If there was a vomiting emoticon, I would insert it here! ) I don't envy astronauts!
  21. My top 5 Sci-Fi films: 1. 2001: A Space Odyssey 2. A Clockwork Orange 3. Close Encounters of the Third Kind 4. Star Wars (Eps. IV) 5. Back to the Future
  22. Chocolate Mousse! I'm a chocoholic!! Paul Newman or Robert Redford?
  23. I think their best song is Echoes, without a doubt. It perfectly blends their early psychedelic sound with their mid `70s rock sound.
  24. Thought of another one just now. My favorite classic rock bands/people: 1. Led Zeppelin 2. The Beatles 3. Pink Floyd 4. Electric Light Orchestra 5. David Bowie
  25. Lots of classic rock!! Led Zeppelin The Beatles (and their solo work) Pink Floyd Electric Light Orchestra David Bowie The Yardbirds Jeff Beck The Who Heart U2 AC/DC ZZ Top Jimi Hendrix The Traveling Wilburys Tom Petty And more... Edit: oops! How could I forget Cream and Eric Clapton!
