Fortunately it was a short illness, and for the other part of his life he enjoyed good health. You could be having the worst week, and wake up in the morning, listen to his show before you left for school, and he lifted that burden. He made everyone smile; lots of soul there.

Wonder if she ever covered Leader of the Pack or How can you compare Madonna to Etta James? And I realize that Madonna and Tina Turner can both dance, and Janis Joplin? Okay maybe they both wear interesting apparel. But Etta James sings very soulful, bluesy rhythms, and Madonna wails pop-flavored melodies. In terms of weather, one is a flood and the other is a drizzle.

Growing up around divorce, I learned that a 2 year moratorium on any new close commitments is recommended in order to avoid making the same mistake all over again, and having to go through another divorce. It's a good habit to keep the dates light-hearted, fun and happy, and then call it a night.

He may have realized that he made mistakes and he needs to reconcile himself to the facts that he knows. He may not be proud of everything that has happened in his personal life. He remains a public figure. He has to balance the self he knows with the person the world knows. It's probably fair to say this divorce has put him through some soul-searching, and the elusive inner peace that sustains everyone is high on his preferred menu items. His best woman now will bring out the best in him for whatever reason. There are few saints in this world. Everyone makes mistakes. You must choose the best relationships. Part of evaluating the quality of a relationship is understanding how you interact with someone; if there are elements of joy, understanding, and peace to balance the passion. Also, when you look forward to having conversations with someone that are generally easy and highly enjoyable as a matter of course, that is a sign of a quality relationship.

Because the path to life, and life itself, are valuable gifts that are not meant to be taken for granted, even if there are challenges along the way. You develop a perspective on the media as time progresses. This reminds me of the high speed racer who survived a crash at approximately 250 mph, a speed that would kill most people. It amazed him that he had survived, and from that time on he lives his life as if each day were the last.

Maybe that's why it sounds familiar; 1966 was an interesting year. It reminds me of the time when Jimmy Page was in the Yardbirds. I recall watching a television program and noticing that he had a new singer in the band, but I don't remember the name of the program. I remember where I was, what I was doing, and all of that. I'm wondering if it was near the time of the the February, 1968 show at the Whisky.

Usually it's the person who I learn the most from, or who loves me, or treats me better than others do.

It's probably just the usual Aries-Capricorn personality conflict; it happens to a lot of people.
