Hard to go against a horse that has never lost a race and I must do just that taking Quality Road over Zenyatta. I may regret it but that is my pick in the Classic. Like a couple of other horses like Red Desire, a Japanese invader that has a big shot in the Filly and Mare Turf.

If anyone will watch or follow the Breederes Cup championships this Friday and Saturday please do post. I will post my picks later in the week. I see some European invaders I like and one Japanese horse.

In exactly one week the Breeders Cup thorobred championships will be run at Churchill Downs. 11 races run over the course of two days with most of the big events being Saturday and the Breeders Cup Classic with undeafed Zenyatta running her last ever race. The question is, is it one too many? She may be unbeatable but I remember Cigar being run one too many and not winning the final race. Though the situation is very different. I have bought the advance and will be checking it out all week and will see what horses look the best. The European invaders will be very tough especially on the grass.

Have to give it to Geico. That commercial with the drill seargant from "Full Metal Jacket" is great. And the wood chucks too. Ha.

My wife watches Dancing with the Stars every week. So I do also. I am rooting for Jennifer Grey. She is great.

The Blizzard of Oz album was so much better than Black Sabbath albums it isnt funny,. Rhodes was a better guitarist in his short career than Iommi ever was. I love Iron Man and some of the classics. Master of Reality and Paranoid are good but if you ask me, Crazy Train and Mr Crowley are better.
