Try what exactly? To figure out how some people can be so critical toward a person who owes them nothing, yet in a lifetime has given all of us so much amazing music to enjoy? Pou yaille! I am done.

It might be annoying when facts are mis-stated, I really believe that comes from dictation mistakes. (the last, 9 vs 5 Earl Court run is an example). But the recent vitriol that has been directed at Mr. Page here on the "official Led Zeppelin" site is just plain hateful and completely worlds away from the spirit of LZ! Where is the respect? He did say he would release music, AND he did release DW II and LR! He also released the artistic photographic prints which seems to have stuck in some people's craw! These are worthy endeavors, they may not be what you want, but he is still creating, still busy and when he does appear somewhere playing with friends, he sounds fantastic! I choose to wait patiently and see what is next from Mr. Page!

I have a couple of questions about the pics in today's JimmyPage.com "On This Day" feature... The one about Stephen Stills and The Sol... I wonder if The Sol logo was drawn by Mr. Page? The ink smears lead me to believe that it is a doodle... Just speculating. The photo of the studio shows The Sol to be beautiful... What is known about The Sol (other than what is on Wickipedia) and what exactly are we looking at in the photo? The reflection has distorted things, but I thought some might know or be more observant than I. Also it is my understanding that Jimmy bought The Sol in the 80s, yet I see online photos from the early 70s of Jimmy, and being credited as taken at The Sol! Thanks for any responses... I really enjoy my time here. Peace!

I really enjoyed their first album Before the Fire Awesome stuff! "Memphis Sun" and "The Man Who Wasn't There" are my favorite tracks on BTF. But actually they don't have a bad track on BTF! The new release Pressure and Time has not had the same impact on me as BTF! That being said, I would love to see them live, if they ever come to NOLA!

I have been spending my evening perusing this thread and thoroughly enjoying my time here! Ms. Deb, after the day I had...I needed a good laugh! Thank you for posting it!!!! These 2 were one of the most hilarious things I have ever watched!!! Who knew the Swedish people had such a crazy sense of humor??? I got to say Robert's charm has no equal!!! The sad moment when Rob spoke of losing his boy was so touching and human...but the rest of it had me laughing out loud!

My husband and I just listened to Rival Sons ""Before the Fire" and The Stone Foxes "Bears and Bulls" on our way traveling from New Orleans to Meridian, Ms. Rival Sons are really awesome!!!! Not a bad song on the album and definetly hear some Zep influence! I am looking forward to their 2nd album!!!
