  1. All the credit goes to The Pagemeister for that one. It was a great article with some entertaining recaps of the trial. Thank YOU for the information you've provided. It's nice to come to one thread to see all the latest news regarding this very bizarre trial. I suspect Jimmy and Robert have asked themselves many times if this is for real or are they getting punked. If it brings them closer together in any way (I'm recalling Jimmy winking at Robert which sounds very friendly), then that may be the silver lining in this craziness.
  2. This trial seems so bizarre, I wouldn't be surprised if a juror surfaces as a LZ superfan and does something like that!! Love this, thanks for posting! My favorite parts: - Jimmy upon listening to Taurus: "When it started, I was confused by the comparison... What's this got to do with Stairway?" My sentiments exactly, Mr. Page. - Jimmy playing air drums during the playing of a live take of Zeppelin's "Fresh Garbage" cover and winking at Plant. - Malofiy to Jimmy: "Later on you had a gift of playing guitar, is that correct?" Jimmy: "Well, yeah." ❤️❤️❤️ That sounds as ludicrous as this lawsuit, kingzoso. All the questioning about if/how well LZ knew Spirit and Taurus doesn't seem relevant if it is a fact that the chord progression is common and has been used in numerous songs, dating back for centuries. Why would hearing Taurus be any more significant than hearing the other songs that use this chord progression.
  3. I know your heart sunk when you realized you had forgotten your wallet. Hopefully you'll get a second chance to go. What a moment, I would have loved to be in the room to observe the faces of everyone listening to STH. I suspect a majority wanted to listen to it in its entirety.
  4. Healthy sized, indeed! That would feed my family! It does look yummy. Strider, is that an English breakfast?
  5. Unimaginable. Glad you are safe.
  6. Please stand if you have ever seen LZ in concert. Please continue to stand if you have seen LZ in concert more than once. Please continue to stand if you have seen LZ in concert more than half a dozen times. If you are still standing, you may be dismissed from this jury selection. You may not have to say a word!
  7. That's me, flying through the air at my first five star rating. Just a little fun to pass the time. Say It Ain't So by Weezer is my guilty pleasure.
  8. Ahhh, my home away from home (you got there quickly!). Hope you are having a great time in NOLA, it has so much character, a very special place. I agree, Bourbon St is not my favorite place, unless you are eating at Galatoire's or having a drink at Old Absinthe House. I love Royal St (one block from Bourbon St) which has some cool stores (you may see a LZ signed guitar at a vintage music store), my favorite street musicians (two females that you don't want to miss, they are stationed at Royal and St Louis IIRC), and it's fun to have a drink at the famous Carousel Bar in Hotel Monteleone. Have a great time, ledded, and don't forget to get a beignet!
  9. Have fun on your trip, it sounds like a lot of fun! I was just mentioning to family that I would love to go to Yosemite, and they all know I'm dying to see the Michael Jackson One show in Vegas.
  10. A Whole Lotta Love for JBLZE in Biloxi tonight!! Jason Bonham is not only a great drummer, he is a fantastic performer. Sure, he has the greatest material anyone could ask for, but I applaud him and the other talented musicians for playing their hearts out and getting the audience fired up. They had everyone on their feet tonight, and it got LOUD! There were so many special moments, from his fun stories, home videos, wiping tears during Thank You, and a fantastic set list (all the fan favorites, and to my delight, SIBLY, The Ocean, and The Wanton Song). I could have listened to them all night long! Thank you, Jason, for keeping the music alive, and thank you to Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham for giving us the best music ever made. p.s. Near the venue is a street named Percy. I hope Jason saw it. No drumsticks were thrown, so this was my souvenir for the night.
  11. Just returned from seeing the Joe Walsh / Bad Company show. I'm still in awe!! A lovely night at Champion Square. The opening act, which was not announced, was Makana, from Hawaii. He stepped on the stage and started playing a guitar, and it was simply beautiful. He introduced himself and said he wanted to play something that was influenced by Jimmy Page, and he proceeded to play Dance of the Red Poppies. Very nice. Then he played Going to California, and I knew it was going to be a great night!! ❤️❤️ Bad Company, til the day I die. I love seeing the pics of bands back in the day. Paul Rodgers did not disappoint. His voice still makes me melt. One of my favorites tonight from Young Joe Walsh, who still seems to be celebrating his twenty-something birthday. His voice and guitar skills are in tip top shape. I was blown away!! He changed guitars on every single song, sometimes even during the song. Another favorite from tonight was Funk 49, I love the guitar in that song (reminds me of Jimmy). Every minute on the sonic trip was pure joy. It truly was one hell of a night! Joe Walsh was amazing on the guitar. So was the fella next to him. There is something square to the drummer's left, looks like a monitor. What is that for? Loved the pics shown during Life's Been Good, and since the riff sounds like Houses of the Holy, what better pic to have than with Jimmy. Another nice one. Nice tribute to Glenn Frey. Yes, I echo the above. I did edit out your comment regarding the backup singers as I wasn't as impressed with them as you were, kingzozo.
  12. Happy they have made performing in Biloxi MS an annual event.
  13. Thanks for the passionate (and colorful) review, kingzozo, sounds like it will be an amazing night! I will see them in an outdoor venue so hopefully we'll have nice weather. I'm glad you enjoyed the show, now I'm even more excited to see them! p.s. No love for Bad Company??!
  14. Hi kingzoso! I hope you see a great show tonight. I will see them later this month.
  15. Good idea, Strider, will have to have to check that out.
  16. Hi Kiwi! The play sounds like one of those stories that is important to watch, even if you know it will not end well. I always feel emotionally drained after watching something like that (more so when it is a true story). We are very excited and proud of our college graduates, thank you! They've worked hard for this day to arrive!
  17. Hmmm...maybe that's what this lawsuit is all about. Perhaps the attorney made a huge bet with his friends that he could get Jimmy to play again.
  18. My favorite work out song, the best and most productive ten minutes there is. Sometimes I use music as a background to think through something or to plan for the day, but not when listening to ALS. This song commands my total and undivided attention. There are so many treasures and favorite parts to hear, I don't want to miss a thing.
  19. Thank you, Kiwi! I hope you and your mom enjoyed Mother's Day, the play sounds like a very special and memorable one! I had a busy and very rewarding weekend, celebrating my son's college graduation and Mother's Day. My daughter graduates this weekend, so the celebrations continue. Very happy mama right here!
  20. Dancing with the Stars It is an amazing season, really good stuff!!!
