  1. Yet another NFL idiot coming out on the losing end of playing with fireworks: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000500614/article/bucs-cj-wilson-injured-in-fireworks-accident Btw, JPP of the Giants also has a broken thumb which take 6 weeks to heal. The reports seem to think he will be able to play in 2 months. There is no way a defensive end is going to be productive going up against OT's without the index finger on his right hand. That is the most important finger at a position that requires quick, strong, hands. His career could effectively be over, certainly at the level he was playing at.
  2. Rick, you don't need to prove anything.
  3. Is no thread safe from this bs?
  4. I guess he'll only be able to count to nine now: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000500692/article/giants-de-pierrepaul-has-right-finger-amputated
  5. Thank you very much, zepscoda! I listened to first hour or so this afternoon while relaxing poolside after doing 3 hours of yard work. I actually had never listened to this show before. I thought it was very, very good. I plan on listening to the rest tomorrow. Thanks again!

  7. Nice to see back in here! Hope you're doing well!
  8. Yes, that does sound about right. What is minimum wage right now anyway?
  9. I guess you'll have to be counted out. Here comes the steam train, Deb! For what it's worth - CEO's making that much more than the people who actually make the business successful is glutinous. There's nothing political about that - just extreme greed! That's not even factoring in the retirement benefits and eventual severance package...
  10. Sorry for the confusion, Chase, but I was referring to IpMan's post. I didn't quote him and when my post hit the board yours had gotten in between. Btw, I've never heard that about Zep fans either. Many wealthy and high profile people I come into contact with are huge Zep fans.
  11. (This is in response to IpMan's post above)^^ Yep and how were the working conditions back then? What changed that?
  12. I hadn't realized the date. RIP to the victims and pray for healing for the survivors, family members, and friends.
  13. Is that the story up there? It's good for my Cowboys at least!
  14. He's not biting. You're not on ignore, are you?
  15. This is really starting to become a saga: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000500478/article/jason-pierrepaul-giants-trainer-do-not-meet-tuesday
  16. Look who's performing again.... http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/05/entertainment/dave-grohl-throne-foo-fighters-feat/?iid=ob_homepage_showcase_pool&iref=obnetwork
  17. No, I don't believe it will - but it did cost him a shipload of money! The Giants have pulled their $60 mil offer off the table: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000500185/article/new-york-giants-pull-60m-offer-to-jason-pierrepaul Zepscoda, any thoughts?
  18. I see someone wasn't too smart on the 4th of July : http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000500151/article/jason-pierrepaul-injures-hand-in-fireworks-accident
  19. ^ Absolutely he wasn't credited properly for all of the input he had with those songs. Sure some songs had a solid structure going into rehearsals, but all the layers and textures that were added along the way was the band writing together. Jones has said as much, not demanding more credit but rather explaining how the final product came about.
  20. +1 Based on what we all know is out there, only EC and Knebworth could be released as an audio/video release. Both I (as many others do) have in many different forms - but an official release would still be a very welcomed surprise to me! What the recent releases show is there still are/were some recordings in Page's possession that we didn't even know existed. So who knows what else he really has in those "vaults"? Even he (Page) found stuff that he didn't know he had.... The speculation is fun though!
  21. Now that you mention it, I believe U2 had one - but that was '87. Ian Anderson was one of the best performers ever, IMO.
  22. Yep! Has been slowly growing for a while now. Great job U.S. ladies!!!!
  23. Bought our race tickets for the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis later this month and the Southern 500 at Darlington in September.
