  1. It was a GREAT race! American Pharoah laid the wood to 'em! Wire to wire was impressive. Walter Jr is all fired up about seeing a triple crown winner for the first time in his life. Which of the three TC races is the longest in distance?
  2. No, was on the road to the beach. Glad the Yanks are back in first and on a 4 game streak!
  3. ^ Must be double vision eyes....
  4. It changes all the time. Based on sound quality, era preference, etc. These are my mainstays: 6/21/77 9/29/71 4/27/69 3/7/70 9/14/71 8/31/71 5/24or25/75 7/24/79 Any of the March '73 shows 6/27/77 I know I'm forgetting some stuff, just sitting here on the couch, watching a race, but that's what has come to my head. Oh yeah, 6/2/73, 2/12/75, 3/19/75....
  5. They'll come down. They've all decreased $25-35 dollars from where they've started, and if they don't, cancel your order and go to your local record store.
  6. Publix chicken tenders, southern style potato salad, and cranberry & vodka.
  7. I've NEVER done that here before.........
  8. Not me. Earls Court all the way! I smell another thread being started! Oh man, we're gonna piss off Who fans with this diverted conversation!
  9. Glad you were able to hear the show. It is my absolute favorite show of theirs. Looking forward to hearing it, once again, later this month!
  10. Do you really think watching the Earl's Court DVD is anywhere near as good as being there in person? Not gonna try to convince you anymore - after all I've seen plenty of Primus live performances on DVD and pay per view and they suck!
  11. Irving out for 3-4 months with a fractured kneecap. Cleveland is definitely done.
  12. Seriously? Live footage doesn't equal live, in your face live...
  13. Yep, after I saw them in '89 at Tampa Stadium from the 4th row I was forever a fan!
  14. I work with a lady who went to that show, so it's fun to get her perspective as well. The audio clip that was posted before sounds like it was going to be a GREAT night - with a great bootleg!!!
  15. I didn't know there was anything to respond to? They have won 2 titles in 30 years, even though they have been in the playoffs countless times. To me, that compares to the Braves. Good, but not great. I mean the Red Sox have won more than that.... Close doesn't mean sh!t, in my book - it's all about the WS rings. Back it up to 1966 - the Cards have won 4 titles and the O's 3. Not much to discuss here. I'm not here to defend the O's, they are the Yanks enemies too.
  16. Hermit, it's only the incessant complaining that wears me out. Everyone has their niche when it comes to buying these and everyone has their own expectations and hopes, obviously there is nothing wrong that. I can't wait to finish out the collection, have just enough room for the last three where I have the other 6 on display. I'm definitely going to try and avoid hearing anything from these discs until they come out in July. The anticipation is worth it, for me.
  17. Yes, Steely Dan is headlining. I've wanted to see them for a long time now. I'm not a fan of Elvis Costello myself - he is playing with The Impostors as his backing band. Tickets were only $32.25 for lawn seats, so what the hell!
  18. I feel asleep and didn't see the end, I'll have to look it up and see what happened. I'm at work right now.
  19. Achilles remastered, with the drums thundering like the rest of the remasters, will be mind blowing!!!!
  20. Very physical - good stuff! 1-0 bolts after the 1st
