  1. Just like the Cowboys game in NJ last night - the home team seems to get every call in these games!
  2. I agree, Winston is a dumb ass kid, who knows he is above the law in Tallahassee. Unfortunately for him, he has to try to lead an NFL franchise - eventually - and his stock is plummeting. Just ask Manzel how that plays out...
  3. True! Sad that Nico couldn't really race today. Nobody wanted to see the world championship settled by a system malfunction. Congrats to Lewis Hamilton, he won 11 races and there is no argument that he is a deserving champion!
  4. +1 Much better than going into Sick Again, which I thought sounded amazingly refreshing later in the set as a stand alone number!
  5. They certainly pay their share - especially considering how much fewer services, social and otherwise, are used upstate compared to the city. Either way, glad I live in the "Sunshine State"!
  6. You'll be sleeping with the fishes for making that comment!
  7. That sounds very much like the state of New York over here in the states - most of the revenue goes towards supporting New York City and it's citizens as opposed to the rest of the state. Upstate New Yorker's are very resentful about that.
  8. He was very effective for the Pats last year - just muddies up the rb situation for us FF owners!
  9. All I know is ....haters gonna hate! FSU is on a 26 game winning streak, with a national championship and they are #3?!? In order to be "the man" you've gotta beat "the man"! 'Nuff said! Btw, I'm not a 'noles fan per say. But when a team is the champion and is undefeated, I don't understand the bullsh!t opinions that say they aren't #1. I guess it creates drama....
  10. Are you sure it's not Richard Wilson like NBC evening news reported?
  11. 12. Have all of the post-season awards been handed out? As soon as that's over, go for it!
  13. Kansas City Cleveland Philadelphia New England Green Bay Indianapolis Houston Buffalo Chicago Seattle San Diego Denver San Francisco Dallas New Orleans
  14. Based on what you said, I stand corrected. Over here the only time I've seen him advertised in arenas is when he's opening for Ozzy, Aerosmith, or someone of that stature.
  15. Not to start a fight - but Slash's band is still an opening act last time I checked. Jimmy is loved, no doubt about it - but an 18,000 seat arena with Cornell is out of the question. SAJ, what do you think? Edit to say, I would love to see this collaboration happen - and see it at a Hard Rock Live setting, like Jane's Addiction, Velvet Revolver, Them Crooked Vultures have played over the past 5-10 years.
  16. No chase you are not. Most of the big bands play 5k seaters anymore. Jimmy would play 1,500 seaters max, imo. Look at what the Vultures played....
  17. thanks jabe! We were in victory lane until Harvick left to go to the media center. What an amazing day and season! I've been waiting for 14 seasons to experience a Cup Championship with him. He is in the Hall of Fame for sure now. He's won everything there is to win in NASCAR. So proud of Kevin, Tony Stewart, and the whole Stewart-Haas organization. Can hardly speak after hooting and hollering all night. Didn't get back to Orlando until about 2 this morning. Oh yeah, today is another "Bloomin' Monday" at Outback restaurants. They are giving them out for free today. Just mention Kevin Harvick!
  18. whatever you say! Told you should've picked Green Bay in that suicide league!
  19. ....and you were saying - 5-8 this week!
  20. Thanks Andy! Enjoying a cold beer in the HOT Miami sun right now! Race time is 3:00 - just made our "family picks" while sitting here - which is the reason for my tardiness!
  21. Picks coming by phone directly from Homestead-Miami Speedway - GO HARVICK (#4)!!!! Miami - finally a Thursday win! Minnesota Cleveland Seattle Carolina New Orleans Washington Denver San Francisco San Diego Green Bay Detroit New England Pittsburgh
  22. Ugly showing thus far for Miss. St., they had better get 7 here before half.
  23. RIP Levee. You will be missed by everyone you touched, near and far.
