  1. Good picking - zepscoda! Thanks Paul! and again..... I'm in good company at the bottom at least!
  2. Glad for you redrum. Enjoy the series!
  3. I must be doing something right - we have the same picks!
  4. E is doing quite well in the football picks, isn't she! I do feel so bad for those guys, they live for and love their team so much! Hope all is well! You're the best, jb126!
  5. Yeah, that was quite a game! George is a close family friend and I've had a conversation about that day with him. Even being a Yankee, I agree that was bullsh!t! If anything, pine tar would hamper how a ball comes off the bat! I always told him he pissed me off so bad when he hit that homer off Goose Gossage to end the '80 ALCS, when we had tickets to game 4 - he had a good laugh about that. Really, really good guy. Johnny Damon owes his career to George.
  6. Guess that Phil Collins gig fell through? Jason is really getting around! Thanks for posting.
  7. +1 Good post Paul. Especially in baseball where the season is so long and like a roller coaster ride, it's tough when it comes to an end after such promise. I'm glad for KC fans though, it's been a long time since they have been in this position. Go Royals!
  8. New England Baltimore (thanks Paul ) Green Bay Indianapolis Cleveland Chicago Buffalo Detroit Seattle Washington San Diego Arizona Dallas Denver Pittsburgh
  9. Yeah, I'm with you - 13 is an awesome "early" sounding disc. They captured Ozzy's vocals very well and each instrument is so present in the mix. Amazing how they and Van Halen could come out with such genuine sounding discs at the twilight of their careers - with their original singers - after so many years had passed since their last studio release.
  10. We all know your story....like I said earlier - what a classy guy you are!
  11. Miller played well on Sunday though! Moreno has always been injury prone.
  12. Or if there was a problem with it, they could've discussed it like men and dealt with it. Personally, I don't believe that was ever a problem. Never any proof of that ending being a "situation" either.
  13. Yeah, as bad as the niners have looked at times this year - win tonight and they are right in the middle of everything!
  14. It's supposed rain for us in the next couple of days, Paul! After....cooler weather! Who's playing tonight - AL or NL?
  15. No comments necessary. You win with class and you lose with class, and that's not found at the bottom of a bottle at 4:00 am.
  16. Yeah, I saw him grab his knee and fall down in the end zone. Didn't know it was that catastrophic of an injury. Hate it for him and your team though.
  17. Thanks, Rick! Crazy how everything can change in one week. Last week, your teams were on top of the hill after beating both Detroit teams, then you have what's happened the last couple of days! Sorry for you, you love your teams so much - it's tough when things don't go as you thought they would. Plus when you have certain classless people (person) who want to rub your nose in it. Chin up!
  18. December is BRUTAL though! At Philly, Chicago and Washington (rivalries know no records) and home against Indianapolis. With that said, this team is built for physical football for the first time since Parcels, IMO. Just hope everyone stays relatively healthy!
  19. My boy Harvick (#4) wins Charlotte and moves to the next round, without having to worry about Talladega! After the race there were fights and "disagreements". I will post some of the videos later. Haven't watched the F1 race from Russia yet. Just know that Hamilton is on the pole!
  20. I still can't believe it - my Cowboys went into Seattle and handled the Seahawks! After that bizarre 10-0 start they went 30-13, and that's with the fumbled punt. Amazing!!! Biggest win since Super Bowl XXX, IMO.
  21. Cheers and tears in the Walter household!!!! Counseing is in the future for Walter Jr.! HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!! :cheer: :cheer:
