  1. Fantastic! Glad you had such a great show and venue! We are doing well down here. Treatment is nearing its end and she is looking and feeling more healthy with every passing week. Thank you for asking!! Btw, it seems like an annual occurrence to be looking up at you in the NFL picks....congrats!
  2. As always, it's a pleasure to see you posting here. Many thanks for posting your personal treasure! Hope all is well!
  3. Just scroll up, if you haven't already. It's always worth it when those two go at it!
  4. Seahawks up 7-0. Walter Jr. is happy! What's up with "beast mode" not in for the first series???
  5. THAT'S what you're pissed about...."the fever"!
  6. The Cowboys had to have a silent snap count yesterday.....AT HOME!!! Talk about sh!t fans! Away games are louder for Dallas!
  7. If you did, that's waaaaay tmi!!! Congrats!
  8. Yeah, I agree. You know the NBA and NHL want as little competing as possible against the NFL.
  9. Obviously yikes! I just hope we get out without any major injuries. It'll give us a good measuring stick, that's for sure! We had Houston by 10 with 7 to go, but the same old thing happened. The defense laid down and then shitty play calling and execution on the offensive side. Of course that's the same Houston team that handled your Bills already, right Rick?
  10. I agree, Seattle should run all over them. However, Seattle on the road is a different team than at home and they've had a long rest. The 'skins were embarrassed in their last game and might have something to prove. I think this could be closer than what would seem obvious. Like last night - something told me the Patriots had something to prove after that embarrassment the previous week, and they did.
  11. I believe he is still around here @ zeppelin.com - they should've looked him up, under a different name now of course! Sorry for your teams, Strider. The LA Kings will make amends, I'm sure!
  12. Yeah, I scratch my head at the length of the NBA and NHL seasons - 82 games, correct? - and they have best of 7 series' from the beginning to the end. Then you have MLB with the longest season - 162 games - and they have the "one and done" wild card round, and then a best of 5 series before finally going to best of 7 in the championship series. Ass-backwards, if you ask me!
  13. He's been seen with Donovan, Black Crowes, and Foo Fighters over the last handful of years - its the idea he would be coming out with his own project is what most are skeptical about. Me, I've seen him 6 times and each time was amazing so I would again in a heartbeat. Travel too, as Deborah was saying. If he doesn't that's fine too, he's given so much already to us. The fact he keeps talking about it with nothing tangible happening, is the rub. So you can say it'll happen, with the certainty you are projecting, and if/when it doesn't nobody will remember and call you out on it. That's an easy stance to take. "Seen playing guitar" is a very open ended statement. That could happen as an encore with any number of musicians and not with what he has eluded to. The waiting continues and the clock keeps on ticking...
  14. Calvin Johnson going out with an injury early in the game and Alex Henry missing 3 makible kicks in regulation is what did the Lions in. Matt Prater is probably in Detroit right now ready for his tryout!
  15. Happy Birthday Deborah! Hope you had a great hike and an evening better evening, my friend!
  16. Yeah, it really seems like a trap game for Dallas! Especially considering they are playing at Seattle next week.
  17. Walter Jr. will be so happy to see your pictures! Thanks for sharing, Strider!
  18. The show was right after Glastonbury. It had songs from all of his different projects. His current stuff fuses so many different types of music, it's hard to describe. Always blues based though.
  19. Easy now, Rick. I'm not 18 anymore and can't count the minutes until the games start. Family, work, and fantasy football have priorities too! Glad for your O's! Now, back on topic - the AFC LEast are now the worst division in football! Yeah, I said it! Biggest surprise so far this season: Arizona Cardinals being undefeated while missing their starting qb. On the backside, you could go with New England looking horrid or the Saints not off to a good start, but what about the team that has made the NFC Championship game the last 3 years? San Francisco looks to be on the verge of implosion. I've been hearing about locker room dissension, they have had so many off field issues, the players are getting tired of harbaugh and his tactics, and now injuries are starting pile up. The seem like they're on the brink off disaster.
  20. They could chant: S-T-D, S-T-D, S-T-D!!! :cheer:
  21. Letting you know that Bonger had already posted after the Tigers' loss - but then I saw that you had already seen it in the other thread. Just trying to be helpful!
  22. Angels and Royals did, how early do you think I go to sleep? Actually, I wasn't even aware the O's and Kitty's were playing last night until reading about it here. Too many obscure channels used anymore....
