I can see both sides of airing that. Now that we are a few days removed from her death, it is time to point out to younger folks what her drug addiction did to her talent and her family. It was sad to see what happened to her, but as Strider pointed out, it is not living when a person is addicted to crack - it's just surviving day to day. Hopefully her daughter will stay away from the lifestyle choices she made and the people whom she hung out with.

SU had lost to them the last 7 times they played and every game since Louisville joined the Big East. Pitino has had the Orange's number since leaving Providence. A win is a win, especially having to play that hard on the road against a team that is playing as well as the Cardinals have been playing.

Went to see Phantom Menace in 3-D this past weekend with the family. It was very well done in that format. First Star Wars movie I have seen in the theatre since "Empire Strikes Back", back in the day....

I picked up the disc over the weekend with a very skeptical ear...listened to it straight while at work and buzzed at home over drinks and I LOVE IT!! I think it shows signs of a natural progression of post Van Hagar along with the grittiness of classic VH! I obviously know they used some demos from back in the early days, but as the disc goes on it gets stronger and stronger. Sounds like the perfect post-1984 disc with a much harder edge!!!! Looking forward to seeing them - again - in April!

I thought Sir Paul was looking a bit like Mrs. Doubtfire! First time I thought he looked his age. I haven't watched his performance as of yet....looking forward to watching the Foos - love Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins and the boys. Bring back the Vultures!!!!

Never said she was - just nothing as special as people are making her out to be. Sounds like a lounge singer to me. She's not bad, but as I said she's "flavor of the month" when it comes to the Grammys. Anyone could see it coming from a mile away. Just look where she was seated, front row center. Let's watch her career unfold, see if she has any staying power....

No problems, Chase...I know NE fans are sensitive about that subject! My family is originally from VT, so I understand the extreme loyalty to the Pats, Sox, Celtics, etc.

Easy now Chase - I was only pointing out fact, there are plenty of other "rumors" about The Hoodies' level of cheating, errrr taping that are out there and haven't mentioned one of them! Just thought it was an interesting fact.

I also agree that the game didn't have the usual intensity - long drives, with relatively no big plays and hardly any turnovers....leads to that kind of game. Plus like what was said earlier, Indy doesn't deliver that usual party, hype, hoopla that other cities do when they host the game. I really didn't care who won the game, but it's interesting that the Pats are now 0-2 in Super Bowls since "spy gate" unfolded. Plus they are now 3-4 in Super Bowls as a whole. Congrats to the Giants for winning another one the hard way - going on the road for most of the playoff journey. Did anyone catch the whole Gisele thing after the game, blaming the receivers and getting hassled by the Giants' fans as she left the luxury boxes (no pun intended!)? I still think Madonna sucked and could have picked better song selections....she is an entertainer who has lost a step and the looks that put her in mega-stardom. Now she has to rely on her musical talent, which she really doesn't have much of, IMO. The new song was pretty bad too - but the lights effect they used for "Like A Prayer" was cool! Back to football....
