  1. Indian for us this evening. Homemade Chicken Tikka Masala. The recipe for this is from The Curry Bible by Dan Toombs. It takes a long time to make, Spice Mixes, Curry Base Sauce, Marinating Chicken and then grilling it. Roti for the bread. It has taken me the best part of 2 days, but it will be eaten in 15 minutes. Something like this: Chicken Tikka Masala - Restaurant Style Tikka Masala - THE CURRY GUY (greatcurryrecipes.net)
  2. Chorley is in Lancashire and Kidderminster is in Worcestershire, well they were the last time I looked?
  3. @Walter Stay safe my friend. You and your family
  4. As I have said before, I'm no Monarchist. However, Mrs CP had it on and as a spectacle it was unbelievable. The pipers and drummers were so tight and the lone piper leaving Windsor was, as @slave to zep said surreal. The planning of the whole event must have been a challenge. I won't be buying the DVD though.. We didn't play golf as I had a raging hangover
  5. Nope. It would take a million quid for me (us) to go down to that shithole. I know we like to queue but to stand for 14hrs, like at an airport? No thanks. We're playing golf anyway on Monday. A day off with pay? Yes please.
  6. Nothing, as all channels are fixated in showing, well, nothing of interest. @redrum I liked the Dracula TV series. I think it was meant to be a little tongue in cheek.
  7. None. The Monarchy have no say in politics, other than to rubber stamp any new, or amended laws, that are passed.
  8. I have no interest in the Monarchy.
  9. Mixed. Still warm though. Shorts still order of the day- half mast of course
  10. We had a wonderful Thai Lunch for Mrs CP's birthday. We had a selection of plates as follows Tom Yam Soup King Prawn Tempura Tiger Prawns with a Hot Chilli Dip Pork Satay with a sweet Chilli dip Chicken Satay with a Peanut Sauce Penang Curry with Jasmine Rice Pad Krapow Chicken with Jasmine Rice Lime and Soda for drinks £30 for everything and it was delish.
  11. This country is well and truly up the Swanee without a paddle.
  12. One win in 5 games? Good luck in recovering your hard earned $ betting on them. Sunday's biggie: Us V Arsenal. That looks like a cracker
  13. Still can't see it going to any other but City and Liverpool to be honest. Yes, Arsenal have started well, however, they'll fade like the summer into Autumn. We have turned in 2 OK performances and we have your beloved Liester this evening. I expect us to bag the points which will take us up to 6th in the League (I think).
  14. You still get the feeling he isn't proud of his years with Zeppelin. Quite how he is embarrassed regarding The Battle Of Evermore, as it's a wonderfully sung and beautiful piece of music
  15. I feel Autumn coming . I think the next 6 months are going to be dreadful. Inflation up. energy bills astronomical, The Winter
  16. The Daily Mail once again rears it's ugly head. A paper so ingrained in right wing bollocks, it's not worth wiping the dogs arse with.
  17. Not surprised she didn't see the film until the 1990's as It's a pretty shit, badly edited film. The Albert Hall show and The Danish TV programme are far better musically. I mean who gives a fuck if John Paul Jones wanders around a graveyard on a horse and Plant thinks he's a Norse god who (pretends) to eat Flyargarics in Wales? I was 15 when the film was released and the reviews were not too kind about the film. Though the LP got stellar reviews - rightly so. I went to see the opening night in Manchester and whilst I creamed my jeans at Dazed and Confused, me and my mates main topic of conversation afterwards was who was the blonde woman with Plant?
  18. That's rich coming from someone who's forum name contains the word "Zep" and who's avatar is Led Zeppelin.
  19. I'm fully aware when the film came out. However, it doesn't sound right that 46 years later the OP just noticed she was in the film as an audience member. I mean, OK you go to the show, cameras are everywhere, she is handed a Tambourine by a very famous rock singer, maybe after Stairway? The gig is awesome? Do you not think 3 years later the OP didn't go and watch the movie or in the meantime didn't buy the DVD? Sorry but I for one don't buy it. Also there a lot of first time posters replying to the post. . By the way: I was the Post boy in the movie handing the tour dates to RP. I have a Bicycle and I was once a postman.
