Just watched a report about how that dam was constructed with soil and clay 200 years ago, no way will it last that long again, it definitely needs rebuilding. Screw the cost just get it done. Weather forecast for that area coming Sunday does not look good though, hopefully there won't be a repeat of the recent weather, situation still critical though...

Glorious, been in the garden all day working on my shed repair/rebuild. We must be lucky, I reckon CP must live about an hour or two away, the weather over there is horrendous, just watched the reports on The BBC's North West Tonight. Fingers crossed that Whaley Bridge does not get the worst of what is forecast.

Nah, it was too different from their earlier stuff for me, the album after "Stormwatch" "A" I only ever heard once, that didn't grab me, the album after that one "Broadsword and the Beast" I do have, I really do not like that one at all, horrible drum sound. " Crest..." I only heard tracks that got radio play, again too different from earlier material, those synth sounds, not my cup of tea.

Looking forward for this, I'm out after this though, Stormwatch is the end of JT for me. I have no love for anything after.

Not sure about the weather over there in Northern Ireland, I think it's the first time sine the early 1950's the tournament has been played over there. I've not seen any TV coverage yet, it's on Sky Sports, I'm not a subscriber, highlights are on The BBC at 8pm. All I've got at the mo is BBC online text reports.

Nope, doubt you would be able to hear anything, too many high pitched shouts of Woo Hoo Hoo and Yeahhhhh, people shouting Jimmmmmy or Robbbberrrt, -
"Liverpool then head across the Atlantic, where they will play Borussia Dortmund in Indiana (July 19), Sevilla in Boston (July 21) and Sporting CP in New York (July 24)" Manager Klopp is taking with him a 28 man squad, a "top unit" as you say will take part in these games at some point, these games are just warm up games for the up coming season.

The landing was about 2am here and the moonwalk a couple of hours later. My dad promised he would get my brother (11) and I (12) up just before the landing, well he didn't. In the morning he said he'd fallen asleep and had only woken up during the moonwalk, so we would have to wait until the six o'clock news (no morning TV back then) reports. I had been so looking forward to watching live as it happened, to say I was disappointed in my dad was an understatement, I just wish my mum had been interested enough to watch, she would have got us up.

Yep, only a game imho. There are far more important things in life than ones favourite footie team. Yeah I like to see Liverpool do well, it's not the end of the world though if they don't. I admit though I almost got upset that Liverpool didn't clinch the Prem title season just gone, but I soon came to my senses, it's only a game.

Prem season starts Friday 9th of August, Liverpool v Norwich is the first game. Who will do well, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Tottenham maybe Chelsea. Leicester will finish mid table or below. Moves/Transfers I've no idea, couldn't care less tbh.
