Ok, there WAS one close to Headley Grange though in Passfield I think it was. They used to regularly go the when taking recording breaks. Reason I'm so interested in it is that I went there once to see a small local band, an djimmy was only bloody there ! Tapping his fingers away and my daughter doesn't believe me !

Well, I can look into that further just bear in mind it has nothing to do with being a TSRTS film location, which is fine.

Update: There are several pubs in the vicinity of Headley Grange. If you perform an internet search "pub near Headley Grange" perhaps you'll find it among them. It was so long ago the name may have changed.

His dad met me from school at St Joseph’s in Stourbridge once or twice.. I thought he was an architect not an accountant.. I ALWAYS remembered the bow tie.

I met his sister Allison and his mum when I was about 8 years old (1968/9) when I think  his dad was designing a house for us ! His mum and sister were keeping all the newspaper clips about his burgeoning career in the attic because his dad thought it would all come to nothing! I remember going there and my guardians talking about it.. they have lived in Kinver at this point? Not sure, I was v young… but the thing about the attic made me giggle

That's awesome! When Robert was born, they resided on Trinity Road in West Bromwich.

A friend of mine received those scrapbooks directly from Robert's mother and still has them to this day. If I can locate the photos of those scrapbooks, it seems alright to post here. He is an absolute to bloke. A ferociously loyal friend to Bonzo and Robert.

Today's Arizona sun shining through my L.Z. tapestry. Great winter weather out here. Got the windows wide open, shorts and t-shirts weather out here. We have a mild breeze, it's nice!

It's easy to imagine the Heaven Knows music video having been filmed in Arizona, although it wasn't.

  4. Imagine Buffalo's long suffering Bills fans trudging back to the parking lot in the snow after another playoff loss!

It seems to me Cincinnati's QB had all day to make plays and the Bengal's running game was just unstoppable.

Upside of this outcome is we won't have to endure another three or four weeks of stories about what's his face.

A shocking investigation has reportedly uncovered disturbing new details about a gay activist couple in Georgia who are charged with raping their adopted sons and pimping them out to a local “LGBTQ pedophile ring.”

In a functioning society, same sex couples would NEVER be allowed to adopt children. These abused boys are ruined for life. As a by the way, a man cannot have a husband, nor a woman a wife. Either can have a "spouse".

I'm sure that if King were alive today he would most likely slap Lori Lightfoot and a lot of these big city mayors upside the head.

On balance, King wasn't half bad but after he was assassinated the race hustlers like Jesse Jackson hijacked his movement. It devolved into little more than professional grifting.

I studied with Professor Sir Ian Kershaw, author of The Nazis: A Warning From History, and he had no doubt that Hitler seriously intended to invade the UK. The Battle of Britain was an attempt to destroy British air cover ahead of a 'surrender or be invaded' ultimatum. Hitler did see the British in a different way to other Europeans and he would've preferred a negotiated surrender and the installation of a puppet govt, but he was quite prepared to achieve that by force. He was used to dealing with the likes of Chamberlain, though, so he seriously under-estimated Churchill.

    Fair enough.

On 16 July 1940 Hitler issued Fuhrer Directive No. 16, setting in motion preparations for a landing in Britain. He prefaced the order by stating: "As England, in spite of her hopeless military situation, still shows no signs of willingness to come to terms, I have decided to prepare, and if necessary to carry out, a landing operation against her. The aim of this operation is to eliminate the English Motherland as a base from which the war against Germany can be continued, and, if necessary, to occupy the country completely." The code name for the invasion was Seelöwe, "Sea Lion".

I guess nowhere along in the process did anyone question what in the wide wide world of sports is a goin on here with that statue? At least it isn't in my city.

The unveiling is like a bad SNL skit. Is this even a serious country anymore? TEN MILLION DOLLARS for a monument to masturbation. I suppose in cold weather it could offer temporary shelter to a half-dozen street vagrants.

not so sure , all glasgow trannies have two beards ..... so my pals tell me

Glasgow just came to mind for no reason. Actually, I've gone to Scotland three times and fortunately never encountered any trannies. Actually, Scottish women are beautiful. They are not really my type mind you, but they are beautiful.

Fighting and losing.  America bailed out the entire world in WW2.  I am no Team America meat-head, but it is beyond obvious that without massive American aid (in both world wars) Britain would have had to make terms with Germany and the Soviet Union would have fallen.

We can only speculate, but it seems to me the UK and Russia would have ultimately prevailed regardless. The Battle of Britain was a decisive turning point in the UK's war with Germany. The Battle of Stalingrad was a catastrophic setback for Germany in their war with Russia.

  11. Jeff passed peacefully, and perhaps some solace can be found in that. Personally, I find that I do not want to dwell on his sudden absence and the silence it has brought but that is this new reality. In time, I want to celebrate a remarkable life well lived. We can all get by with a little help from our friends.

I think they took lessons from the Hungarians.

Idiotic tactics on the part of the Russians. You don't attempt to breach the wall until after you disperse the mob, which can be accomplished in so many ways.

I'm very excited to see the band on the platform, as it's arguably the most recognizable band of all time, with their music featured in films, shows, and other media for decades now! While TikTok isn't necessarily the best place to create ""cinema"" or high art, it's great for creating casual content, especially if you have a good idea, an intriguing niche, and information to spread. Mixing up good videos with Led Zeppelin's classics, as well as a booster for my TikTok page like https://famoid.com/buy-tiktok-likes/, is sure to get me more noticed, as I film roller skating videos in my city, and they tend to be more ""rock and heavy-metal"" type of videos.

Roller skating? I wish someone had filmed the roller-skating gatherings of my teenage years. The roller rink was where we went to find plenty of pretty girls. Spent many a Saturday chasing tail.

I've never understood why jets and long range HIMARS have been rejected by NATO, as both can be used for defense or offense.

Actually, NATO already has the Saab JAS 39 Gripen single engine fighter jet and they also have HIMARS, Germany in particular.

Three Baltic states have placed orders with the US for their own HIMARS, with the first expected to be delivered in three years.
