Absolutely nothing productive. Feeling a bit under the weather today; been watching "Game of Thrones" all afternoon (still in Season I). Basketball later.

Recently saw this movie and it has a great soundtrack; several of the songs have been stuck in my head since. This one reminded me a lot of Glen Hansard, whose work I really love:

Saw "August Rush". What a sweet film, and a lovely soundtrack. I think anyone who has always been passionate about music would enjoy this one. (Been on a bit of an Irish/musical kick with upcoming St. Patrick's Day...also rewatching "Once" and "The Commitments").

3 recently: 1) Admission (Tina Fey); love her, but this was sort of blah. 2) Fame (original); watched this a bunch of times in HS when it first came out, and hadn't seen it in years (maybe even since the 80s). It reminded me of why I've always loved the performing arts so much; such a great movie! 3) Match Point (2005/Woody Allen); very good film; not at all what I expected. I'm almost afraid to say more for fear of spoiling for anyone who hasn't seen.

Thanks to my kids...

I ended up doing state and federal taxes for us and our daughter, plus FAFSA x 2; all today Totally brain fried now...

I got an iPhone 5C (32G) in November; replacing the HTC/android phone I'd had for 2 years after it began having battery/charger port problems. I also got a new Macbook at the same time, so I have all Apple products (also have an iPad mini). I have to say though, I miss my HTC; I may go back to Android again next time. I'm keeping the Macbook, though! If you don't already have a good music app, I recommend iSyncr. It was about $4; and it allowed you to bring over your iTunes library/playlists; and you can make ringtones from any song; no editing required. Very easy to use and to synch. The one thing that blew my mind about the iPhone was what a huge pain it is to do musical ringtones. I assumed it would be super easy, but it wasn't; it was way easier with iSyncr. And you have to edit the songs to get ringtones from them with iPhones. Blew my mind.

One of the hazards of parenthood...

Not sure yet; I have both. Usually I go for Merlot.
