This is wonderful news! I am waiting to see how they do on the Billboard charts also, but we will have to wait until next week.

I think Chris is very talented and I have been reading alot of stories on the internet that the backlash on him has begun. Such a shame. I read somewhere that they sold out 1 night at MSG. They had good crowds overall even though some shows were not sold out. But they did sell out a few shows along the way and the seats were smaller venues which is much better for that type of tour, IMO. Besides, what difference does it make anyways? If you are comparing their ticket sales to Zeppelin, you are absolutely right, apples to oranges indeed!

The album came out in October 2007, so it missed the eligibility to be nominated at the 2008 Grammys for Album of the Year.

Right on manderlyh!! I discovered Alison's music through her work with Robert (although I had heard her name for years) and boy am I glad I have! I think some people are being mean just because he has chosen to work with her instead of getting back with the 3 J's. I find it quite sad, but hey more for me and the rest of us who have supported this project to enjoy!!

Funny, USA Today predicted them to win big too. This is exactly why I skipped those shows last night E! News, ET and Inside Edition, because I had the feeling they would not get mentioned. All the media tends to focus on is who's the most commercial or a bunch of petty gossip as opposed to the talent!
