Kashmir330
Sounds great What a shame for Conan though. Him and Letterman are my two favorite late night talk show hosts. Damn NBC

Led Zep Gurl
Neil Young was on the Hope for Hati show tonight. He sang with Dave Matthews from DMB. It was pretty good.
Electrophile
He did Long May You Run, and made me cry in the process - that song does it every time. I think he topped Carson having Bette Midler sing on HIS last show.
kaiser
Almost but not as good as Will Ferrell wearing his Neil Young shirt ala Ronnie Van Zandt singing "Freebird" last night. Where was Neil? Beck & Billy Gibbons were there for some reason. Conan even took a lead!
Led Zep Gurl
I fell asleep before he came on Conan last night but I did find this on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pPv_67r7Lo Here is the clip of Neil Young and Dave Matthews from the Hope of Haiti program last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-acBuK4sZo Both are great performances I think, especially the Hank Williams Sr. song. Electrophile
Probably because he had to go do the Haiti telethon. Conan's show tapes early in the day.
kaiser
Probably because he had to go do the Haiti telethon. Conan's show tapes early in the day. Ah, yes. I think he tapes at 5 or 5:30 & the Haiti benefit went live at 8.
kaiser
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV3B9NRylwE Wonder why Neil isn't there? If Neil Young can play an early version "Hey Hey,My My(Into The Back)" with Devo, he wouldn't be out of place in that bizarre Ferrell jam session. kaiser
Devo appear in Neil Young's movie "Human Highway" & they jam with Young on an early version of "Hey Hey My My..." . The lyrics weren't finished & Mark Mothersbaugh coined the phrase/lyric "Rust Never Sleeps" which Young used as the title of his then next record & as a lyric in the song. I wasn't aware of his movie or playing with Devo. I looked on youtube for a clip of it but couldn't find anything but when I googled it, found this: My link
