Magic Fills the Air
Hopefully this will be a fun topic! What were your favourite TV shows when you were a kid? Rainbow was probably one of my favourites. They wouldn't get away with showing on TV today half of what went on in that show, espeically the bed sharing! Zippy was a childhood hero of mine! Ady
Grange Hill I loved it as a kid and I love it now. A classic scene from 1981 that all the kids were talking about in real schools the next day! A racist joke in a kids TV show that they would never get away with now. On reflection, it was quite gritty and controversial, some of my friends weren't allowed to watch it.

Yeah, I remember some kids in my class with strict parents who weren't allowed to watch it.

redrum
That was probably my all time fave back as a kid in the early 60's. I think one of the funniest ACME contraptions he ever used (or it might have been his idea) was where he strapped an ice box to his back with a motor that spun out ice cubes into a meat grinder to make snow that shot out in front of him and he had on a pair of skis with a rocket booster to shoot down the hill to hopefully intercept the Road Runner. Of course he ended up off the cliff I'm pretty sure.
