Maybe he was in shock - or in pain, I saw him wince a couple times when walking, post-match. Or maybe he was thinking, "Fuck, now they're really going to pile on the pressure to win Wimbledon." Fateful date: Andy's triumph came on the same date that Fred Perry won his first U.S. Championship at Forest Hills, on Sept. 10, 1933. Viva Britannia!
